Farewell Gift for NE

I would like to personally thank the Cleveland Browns defensive secondary for their LEGAL hit which knocked out Gronk. We play these clowns in two weeks and it's much better going against them without him. He may be a sissy, but he can ball when called upon. Nicely done. And if not for the refs, you guys would have won this game.

Well, I would never cheer for an injury, legal or not. But it is the new NFL Exhibit "A". You can't hit a guy high anymore- TJ Ward learned that a couple of years ago blasting one of the Bengals in the end zone.
Pats fans are crying about Gronk getting taken out- but there were identical hits on Cameron and Gordon. Go watch game rewind and see Cameron getting helicoptered on a low hit, and ditto that for the Pats D going low on Gordon.

one of the most exciting TEs of our generation
what? Gronk? "exciting"?
what? Gronk? "exciting"?
Only Graham's better than Gronkowski, when he's healthy.
-
Even Dan Marino seriously questioned that bad offensive interference call.
And the no call on Brady dumping the ball into the ground?
Yet, the call of intentionally grounding on Campbell, when he was
outside of the hash marks, and clearly had a rb in the vicinity of the throw?
Egad, it looks so much like the winning teams are supposed to win. Especially if
they are from big markets, that make $$$$$$$ for the NFL.
This Browns team is so close to kicking ass and making the playoffs in grand style.
And I hope the sissy pudriots and their classless fans are disappointed in a bad way
the next couple of games.

i know boston better than half the sweater wearing MIT preps that claim to know sports. yeah you and shelton go watch the bruins in harvard square. you must tremble anytime you go close to that shit city to buy some lousy fried clams that smell that wafts down the street like the smell from your sister BR window after the line of the mellon eaters tagged the shit out of her.
are you a southie? comin from a drunk irish family sellin crack on the corners with no teeth cuz you bookie knocked em down your throat?
you know roxbury? not like i do bitch. only white guy to live there since clinton kissed the little black kid on the cheek. and showed me mad respect.
you a suburbanite? that's what i'm thinkin cuz #1 you ain't got the cash to live anywhere near boylston. can't live in welllesley cuz it's about as expensive as where i live and any pussy like you wouldn't last a second at the biggest dive bar close to revere beach. i'm thinkin somerville or revere.
you fuckin cunnie.

Wow, you sound pretty gangsta', and people that are gangsta' are usually real winners.
You got showed mad respect? Good job.... dawg.

That was a cheap hit and you guys know it. I guess this is going to be the new NFL, where the greatest talents just get Nancy Kerrigan'ed on the field with the cheapest, most dirties hit I've seen in a long, long time.
Anyway, I guess it's time for NFL fans around the league to rejoice while dishonestly claiming they don't root for injuries, since their poorly coached, uncreative fucktard organizations have a better chance of winning.
You are the biggest pussy I have ever seen on the Internet.
I'm dead serious.
I have read every football post since 1997, Steeler fans, every whiney opponent you can imagine ... and that was the gayest fucking post I ever read.
What the fuck is wrong with you? It was a clean legal football play.
You root for the wrong sport son, and I think you are in the wrong country.
Let me lead the way for you ... soccer .. Europe.
Although I feel that might be too rough for you too.
T.J Ward made a fucking legal football play during a fucking football game and you are officially the biggest pussy on the internet.
I hope ... and I pray ... that you rare gay. Because, otherwise, your girlfriend is dating the biggest, sappiest, faggiest, piece of shit I have ever heard of ..and she deserves some goddamn real dick.

We all know you didn't really win. And when you won you still lost. Because of gronk.
It was a clean ass hit and it happened several times but becomes dirty when someone gets hurt?

NEPatriots please go away. I am a Browns fan but I love my state of Massachusetts and you are embarrassing the rest of us that live here. I watched the game on the same TV station you did, and you heard that even the Pats-loving announcers for the game questioned that horrible PI call, as well as the intentional grounding called on Campbell and the one that WASN'T called on Brady. You know TJ Ward wasn't trying to injure Gronk. Why don't you write a letter to the NFL, you can thank their refs for handing you this win, and then cuss them out for making rules that force players to tackle low.

TJ Ward is 5'10" 200 lbs
Gronk is 6'6" 265 lbs.
And Ward can't hit him high, what's he supposed to do? Try to push him over.
Plus Ward was thinking about getting fined and if you think it's a cheap shot, blame the NFL not Ward. He did the only thing he could

Cheap hit? Bullshit. He hit him in the thigh. Everyone agrees it was a clean hit, except for the dick head Patriots fans.

Well, if you ask me, I'd much rather have to deal with some guinea slimeball from Staten Island than a ballbreaking mick from southie'

It was an absolute correct legal hit.....and the one that made the most sense for a DB to make.
I don't know about you....but this game is called "Tackle Football". And you tackle a guy by knocking him off his feet....so ergo
EVERY tackle should be made by knocking a guys legs out from under him. This is what Ward did....went to knock the ball carriers legs out from under him....and it is what every defensive player should do. It is the surest way to tackle somebody.
Do you really think that a 5'11 200 lb. DB should only go up high on a 6'6" 270 lb TE? If you do, you are an idiot.
It was an unfortunate break for the guy.....but it was a textbook, clinical, legal, efficient tackle.

It's sad Gronk got injured, but it was absolutely a clean hit. The NFL fines DBs for hits up high and to the head so they have no choice but to tackle low. Stop being a homer for 2 seconds and think logically..

Indeed. Because of the continued pussification of the game, look for more of these types of injuries.

It was not a cheap hit and You Know It but you've still got to Cry and Whine just like Tom Baby Brady, pats fans are such a Joke!!!

I've watched the hit again, and think it was less dirty than I thought it was yesterday.
However, I just think chop blocks against people running at full speed, while borderline defenseless having been looking backwards a split second before, is a dirty hit, even if it's legal by NFL standards.
It's not a tackle. It's diving at a body part that isn't designed to bend the way diving at it makes it bend.
If you guys can't see something wrong with that, I don't know what to say. I'm not blaming your player; I'm blaming the league. It's just ridiculous to encourage that.
Yes, Gronk is a big, giant, strong dude, and he's hard to bring down with a traditional tackle. That should be an advantage for that type of player, instead of a career risk when people are allowed, wearing full pads and a rock solid helmet, to dive straight at your knee caps.
I'd rather see old school Rodney Harrison missiles at the upper body than chop blocks like that.

It was perfectly executed, you whiney cry baby ... tell me what he was supposed to do?
