If the Playoffs started today

  • If the playoffs started today, here is how the playoffs would look:

    AFC

Denver would have #1 seed and a bye

New England would have #2 seed and a bye

#3 Bengals would host the #6 Dolphins

#4 Colts would host the #5 Chiefs

The Ravens/Chargers/Steeler all still have mathematical chances to get the #6 seed....however, note, no team can just "win and in". They would all need help from elsewhere.

    NFC

Seattle would have #1 seed and a bye

Panthers would have #2 seed and bye

#3 Eagles would host the #5 Saints

    #4 Bears would host the #6 49ers

The Cowboys could still win the East with a win vs. the Eagles

The Packers could still win the North with a win vs. the Bears

The Cardinals could still get in the playoffs by beating the 49ers and having the Saints lose.

  • Oddly enough, every single game but one (Houston vs. Tenn) has some effect on the playoff race:

Carolina at ATL Panthers need to win to secure division plus seeding at stake

Baltimore at Cincy WC spot at stake for Ravens, seeding for Bengals

Jets at Dolphins WC spot at stake for Dolphins

Browns at Steelers WC spot at stake for Steelers

Green Bay at Chicago Winner take all, loser out for NFCN title

Bills at Patriots Seeding for Pats

Jags at Colts Seeding for Colts

Buccaneers at Saints (seeding and possible division title for Saints

49ers at Cardinals (WC and seeding at stake for both teams)

Denver at Oakland Seeding for Broncos

Chiefs at Chargers WC spot for Chargers

Rams at Seahawks Seeding for Seattle

Philadelphia at Dallas Winner take all for NFCE title.

  • Draft Order right now:

    1. Houston 2-13

    2. Rams from Redskins 3-12

    3. Jags 4-11

    4. Raiders 4-11

    5. Browns 4-11

    6. Falcons 4-11

    7. Buccaneers 4-11

    8. Vikings 4-10-1

    9. Bills 6-9

    10. Titans 6-9

    11. Giants 6-9

    12. Lions 7-8

    13.Steelers7-8

    14. Jets 7-8

    15. Rams 7-8

    16. Packers 7-7-1

Browns would also have the #24 pick from the Richardson deal with Indy.

  • sure would suck to be a fan of the redskins in this draft
