    Mine would be this :

Go with Watkins first. He's such a stud, we can't pass on him. It would be awesome to have him along side Gordon and Cameron. We would have so many options on offense.

Then with our second first round pick, i would go with a cornerback. Mcfadden and skrine hadn't been really consistent.

With the QB position, draft Mettenberger in the 3rd round. I love this kid. I have a great feeling about him. I would put him behind Hoyer the entire season. He would have time to study the game and recover from his injury.

I don't think we should go with a QB in the first couple of rounds. It's just too risky. We should concentrate on our others weaknesses first and then take a QB later and develop him.

What do you guys think ?

    Much love from France !

Na Buster Skrine has had a very consistent and solid year. He might be one of the better 'tacklers' on a bad tackling team. Although I am a fan of drafting a guy that is a bit taller than the browns corners. A 6'2- 6'3 guy would be nice. Brown's corners were very exposed against Chicago.

Too many receivers in free agency to waste top pick on a rookie.should be able to find a solid #2.

I like McCarran in the 2nd, but Mett. In the 3rd is cool as long as he for sure doesnt c the field in 2014.

Top picks should be linebackers, o-LINE safteys.

1a - I like Watkins here. Will solve "hands" problem across from Gordon and offer 3 very good targets for the Browns QB. I like Hoyer starting at QB and drafting a QB in 3rd or so to learn behind Brian, hence not a QB selection from me here. Watkins also works because I doubt that the Browns will sign a decent free agent wideout (tough to convince a WR to come here when the QB situation is cloudy).

In the 5th round I'd want to solve another problem: FB. I'm hopeful that the Browns draft CJ Copeland. A 6-1 280 lb (!!) true fullback. Yes please.

I like Michigan States CB Dennard definite 1st rounder. Much better CB than Haden and both together would give us the top CB tandem in the NFL.

Have we not learned anything over the past 20 yrs!!!!!! Waiting to get your Fran QB in the 2nd or 3rd round does not work!!!!!! We have 5 pro bowlers this yr and more than likely will have 6 with Ward and we only have 4 wins!!!!! Why is that because we do not have a QB!!!!!!!I like Hoyer like the rest, but he has 2 games under his belt and 3 teams. If he was the next Manning, Rodgers, Brady, Brees dont you think Arizona would have kept him!!!??? Trust me Dont think Banner and Lambordi is smarter than anyone else in the NFL, they all have the same film we do

If we go into next year totally relying on Hoyer, we're in for another 4 or 5 win season regardless who we pick in the draft.

Have to get a QB one way or another, and odds are, he will be playing sometime next year. I liked Mettenberger, but with the injury

he may be a player to think about in the 2nd or 3rd round. I'm not sure why everyone wants another top pick used for a WR. We have

a solid #1, so we need possession types to go with him.

LOL at BPA every pick. but we have too many holes and I would not cry about picking about the BPA with every pick with not trading picks to move around.

I think he will be a solid pro.

If Clowney keeps speeding his way out of the top 5 he might be there for us. 😁

    1. Skrine leads NFL in missed tackles.

    2. 6'2" and 6'3" CBs are extremely rare. Good ones at least.

    I stopped reading there.

Like to see the stat page on #1. Cbs should never have enough tackles to even qualify for that one. 2-4 a game at most (against the run)

The fact that "Skrine" and "consistent" were just uttered in the same sentence explains the intelligence level of some of these fans.

skrine, if he stays on the team should be a compliment to benjamin on returns and be a speedy down the field receiver.

CBs at 6' 3" or 4 or 5 will be the prototype player in the upcoming years. guys that used to play QB or even WR will be turned into monster CBs and if we can find such a guy in the draft i'd be at least happy about that.

way too many holes to fill to just throw all our picks and a wall for a QB and hope that shit sticks.

lot of good WRS out there but sammy isn't the tallest or most physical. watch some of these bowl games and you will see some studs playing WR.

So, where are we at, "pick of the draft wise"? Or is this still to soon after the season? Fuck it, it's best to know I guess. Time to look to the future. There is nothing to be gleamed from resting on our laurels and dwelling on another 4-12 season. Gotta be a top 5 right?

    Browns will pick 4th

Eh, not bad.... that's where we were when we picked Trent. Looks like we'll be "re-doing" that draft. I don't think there are anymore Weedens coming out this year so we'll technically have to be better next year... 😁
