well you're not gonna get it because that's not how you build a team. Again, you are cooking up the recipe for living at the bottom of the North for decades to come. Next years guy is already as good as fired so why would he want to come here? 10 wins....dude, you have to earn 10 wins in the national football league. 10 wins comes stability, not cobbling together a bunch of overpriced free agents with a sprinkling of rookies. Nobody goes to the SB like that. I mean just pay attention to the sport you're professing to watch. None of these elite teams that dominate the league year after year operate like this.

SD, Philly, Ariz, Chi all first year coaches all have 8 wins or more so yes a first year coach can win.

We hired coaches from SD, CHA, and AZ kinda ironic every team is better this year and we're worse this year.

If you think those situations are comparable to Clevelands you're on so much cocaine it's not funny. And with the exception of SD, possibly Philly, none of those teams will sniff the playoffs next year and will be drummed out of the 1st round of this years playoffs. Philly, Ariz and Chi suck. They backed into the playoffs. And all of those teams have qb's that are better than average. Rivers is one of the best in the league, Cutler would be possibly the best if he wasn't a bitch...Foles is up and coming and Palmer is all of a sudden showing his old stuff. If Cleveland had ANY of those guys we'd have been sniffing the division title this year. Fuck if we had Rivers we might have been contending for a 1st round bye. Don't fucking kid yourself that it was the coach's that got those teams into the playoffs. SD is the only one that has a remote chance of running deep into the playoffs in any case. I'd rather build a team that contends for the division for years to come rather than cobble a team together just to snipe a wildcard spot then get immediately sodomized out of the 1st round.

Then why didn't they win in the previous year that got their coaches fired? just curious

Hasn't EVERY regime said they wanted to build a team that wins for years to come, not just right now?

    How's that working out?

I can only speak to how it's working in Cleveland and the answer is who the fuck knows when we only give em 1-2 years. We ask each guy to turn around the last guys shit in one year. That's just not workable.

  • Nick Foles is a franchise quarterback. Cleveland would write songs about him if he was our q.b.

I still think Foles has a lot to prove but you got to wonder how much Kelly's Offense had to do with his success.

Oh god now you've done it. You are supporting the you can find a franchise QB in the third round argument. Nick Foles would have looked like weeden in this offense

I don't know. I was one who wanted them to take Foles. As for how he would have looked in this offense, I think the answer is: better than what we have now.

I wanted Foles or Tannehill...We get garbage of course...

  • Even if we had Foles, there's no run game , he'd be toast... Any QB will be at amajor disadvantage coming to Cleveland without a run game, we have many holes to fill !
