  • Happy new year my man! As usual us browns fans have nothing to look forward to but the draft. But just remember everyone life is much more than following a crappy football team. I just recently got engaged to the love of my life and I'm slowly converting her to be a brownie (she's from south Florida). Here's to hoping we're talking playoffs this time next year!

  • yeah being a browns fan is kinda depressing . glad for you and hope you have a wonderful 2014.

  • Happy New Year. Remember, football is a sport and entertainment. I love the passion on this board but my wishes are not going to be wasted on my team but for my fellow Brown fans: May you have a healthy new year filled with love. I would add prosperity but if you have your health and are loved, you are already rich!

  • Bah- humbug. Well, it's next year- so there's hope. My gut tells me otherwise prove me wrong Weasel.

  • Yep, Johnny Football on his way to C-Town. Another Broadway Joe Namath type of QB.

Johnny Football and Josh McDaniels is a 100% upgrade over Weeden and Chud

  • Agreed. I was being serious.

Sure, the guy that brought Tebow and a losing record to Denver- just what we need.

  • Yep...just what we need. Among about 20 other things.

We don't have a QB or a head coach, so it IS just what we need.

I'm not sold on either guy, but like I said it would be a huge improvement over what we had

There are still so many uncertainties especially with Haz and his legal problems. It's mind blowing to think that all the work and planning geared towards Browns 14 could be a waste of time if the league takes the team from Haz. Browns would be back to step one with a new owner, possible new FO and trying to hire a coach that will be a hard sale at best. There is still a dark cloud hanging over Berea. Browns fans deserve better. I really can't blame fans for saying fuck it and turning their backs but there will always be us dye-in-the-wool, true-blue ,hard cores who are convinced this team can fight it's way to the top of the AFC North sooner than later.

Happy New Year to all the Brown fans who are down but not out. It takes a special person to back the Browns.

  • Here's to 2014 bringing us the next great HC in the NFL! The next great QB in the NFL! And maybe... just maybe... a few more wins!

    Go Browns!!

I'm sitting on the edge of my chair until May & the draft. Johnny would bring excitement to Cleveland like we haven't seen since LeBron.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

  • It's a pro game. Johnny is exciting, and loves the game fiercely. That would be a hell of a great thing,

over the blah who cares mentality of Anderson, Campbell, Weedone and the like.

But I still think he'll get broken like a toothpick when he scrambles around in the NFL....

(that last sentence is just to pick at Canton Mike again....heheheheh......."

  • Happy New Year, wake Me up after next years 2-12 season...

LOL, you want to expound on how McDaniels is in any way better than Chud? He got run out of Denver. You think he's coming here anyway with Lombardi controlling the draft?

and managed to send Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler packing. They may both be prima donnas but if you are going to coach in the NFL you are likely going to have to handle them better than he did in Denver. I hope he has grown up and lost some of his ego.

Another rotten apple falling off the Belichick tree. On this much, Ghoolie had it right- those guys are just coffee fetchers for the real mastermind Bill B.

Sad thing is Dumb-tardi is going to go with what he knows (which isn't much) and hire the booger.
