According to that article the main concerns with Bridgewater are things that are out of his control: offense isn't complex enough, poor competition.

"Louisville’s offense is a pro-style attack, but isn’t anywhere near the complexity of the one Luck saw at Stanford."

So what they're saying is that the Louisville offense is more similar to an nfl offense than cam newtons offense at auburn. Yeah, I remember when cam newton was supposed to be a reach/bust.

"That has been the major critique of Bridgewater throughout his collegiate career: poor competition."

"Skeptics believe that if Bridgewater played in the SEC, however, he wouldn’t have the hype he has generated in the American."

What they're saying here is that Bridgewater played far better competition than Roethlisberger, Flacco, or Romo. Yeah, I remember when roethlisberger went 15-1 as a rookie.

I'm not saying that Bridgewater is the second coming of Peyton Manning, but I am saying that article is dog shit. In my eyes, his slight build is his biggest problem, but that's a concern that is easily addressed.

after all the pros and cons he'll be put in a set which includes johnny manziel.

girlish frame (maybe a size 5) good atheticism, great fire to win.................

        EQUALS

will get his ass busted int the NFL in his first year.

did you see johnny or teddy get whacked like b. miller did? how about nfl? the biggest hitters were going down like flies and you want to add barbie as our starting QB?

        GTFO!

I'm not advocating Bridgewater but I wouldn't cry about him coming on board. He has good pocket presence and speed, if he adds some weight he could be pretty durable. Most importantly, however is that he can read defenses, go through profressions and has the arm to make all the nfl throws. Being able to get the ball out quick/ get rid of it is a big part of staying healthy. Oh and he is black but isn't a run-first qb...

Bridgewater would be the best madden quarterback the browns ever had.

He would have tore up the SEC. It was routine to see 42-35 scores every week, their defenses aren't as strong as years past.

Definitely not, have you watched him? He's a pocket passer who can run when necessary unlike RG3. More importantly he has a very quick release and delivers accurate passes under pressure. This kid's the real deal and I hope we take him, we just witnessed how an elite QB can win a game singlehandedly yesterday.

That was my interpretation, all three of those guys played at schools much smaller than louisville in conferences far less competitive than louisville's
