I'm coming to Cleveland

The Browns Board

  • Anywhere downtown is pretty good. Bars all over near the hotels, plus the Horseshoe Casino. Just don't venture too far east in the 'Hood' and you'll be fine.

  • Yea, they will be playing on Sunday at 1 pm est for the next 17 years.

  • Thanks everyone, it's almost certain to be in September.

What Cleveland bars do I want to be hitting?

Again, another reason if you can to hook up with Howie/Garth/Kmac plus Zombo/Mark/Pavo Joe etc. They are usually shuttled around by some of us board patrons....or we find ways to hook up with them. The Eastland Inn in Berea has been a favorite. Last year WSS and I hooked up with the group at a brew pub in Strongsville. Maybe you can roll with the caravan.

  • I will be making my first trip across the pond to a game this year and I couldn’t be more excited.

Obviously, the sooner we get flights sorted the better in terms of cost so wondered if there are any clues whatsoever on what dates the Browns will be playing home fixtures in 2014?

Or, as I suspect, are we all in the dark until the schedules are released in April?

    Can u get me tickets???

  • when i went to hawaii to visit my girl while she was till in the army i found myself at a bar in honolulu called 'moose mcgillicultys' or something like that watching the giants with their backup QB beating up on the broncos (which of course any browns fan would love to see) anyways after a half dozen of those 'wind cutter rum drinks' i left and was asking the cab driver to find me a spot to score. little did i know that the native samoan people hated white GIs and soon found myself surrounded by the likes of walter white and jessee in some apartment complex where my cab driver was hitting on the pipe more than i was. then at 7 in the morn getting dropped off at the gates of the army complex was brilliant.

another miss by the reaper. think i only got 2 out of my 9 lives left.

fuck it. i'm staying in for the rest of my life.

And this isn't even Monty Python.

  • Will I have to use something like Stubhub to get tickets or will I be fine on the Browns official website?

Browns official site would likely be fine depending which game you wanted to go see, Stubhub may be better or other such sites to pay a little bit more for better seats which wont be available through the browns site. Were you planning on coming over for more than one game, if this likely to be a one off trip or at least a rare one, sometimes cheaper in long run to come over when two home games in a row and spend 10 days across, plenty things to do if its your first trip across.

  • Eat at the Mcdonalds on Detroit Ave. They have great fry's.

I went there last year,,,,Steve was playing....I was the only board member there.....and he was great, as usual, even if Steve kept calling me Beanpot.....LOl.....sorry Steve. All's good my man....I love ya....in a non-homo way.

It depends on how good seats you want. If you want really good seats, Stubhub is your best bet. If you're crossing the pond for a game, the extra $$$ are minimal in comparison. I recommendd 100 level higher than row 15, and the first 10 rows of the 500 level.

Do try to pick a game when Howie, G-man, and Kieth are all in town, it's Board Reunion weekend, and a total blast. Oh, and there's a bar across from the Casino called the Tilted Kilt that meets with most of the guys approval.

What about a game when I'm in town????????

  • i will absolutely aim for that weekend, I'm a big fan of casinos even if my wallet isn't.

Once the schedule is released in April, they usually have the game ironed out inside of 2 weeks.

    What do the fries own?

Or do they have great "Fry is?"

You must be from East Cleveland, a product of their wonderful schools.

Really, his whole post was moronic, telling someone to eat a McDonalds, so I don't see why my nitpick on his Retarded post is offensive.

    Also, he's a fucking idiot.
