Browns Hiring Kyle Shanahan
-
Never believe rumors. How would anyone know how the interview went except for the people who were in the room?
-
-
so who would Kyle want as his QB?
-
Do we have the youngest coaching staff in the league? Nothing wrong with that, and I would hope they put in a bunch of 20 hr days.
-
Looks like we get Johnny Football and run the now infamous read option with Shanahan on board?
-
so who would Kyle want as his QB?
Whoever the FO tells him he wants

2008 Hou OC Offense #8 Passing offense #4 Matt Schaub
2009 Hou OC Offense #10 Passing offense #1 Matt Schaub Pro Bowl
2010 Was OC offense #18 Passing offense #8 Mcnabb/Grossman
2011 Was OC Offense #16 Passing offense #14 Grossman/Beck
2012 Was OC Offense #5 Passing offense #20 Griffin/Cousins Griffin Pro Bowl
2013 Was OC Offense #9 Passing offense #16 Griffin/Cousins
Pretty good with what he had to work with, IMO.
His offenses ranked 5,8,9,10,16,18
During that same period the Browns have ranked 18,25,29,29, 31, 32
Good tutelage from his dad and Kubiak ... he should be able to run his own show.
We're going to give you an All Pro receiver, a Pro Bowl tight end, and an All Pro left tackle to start with.
and you're going to get a highly regarded rookie and a solid veteran at QB.
So make it work.

Don't forget that injured RB who's name I have seem to forgotten that will be back next season.

Frankenstein kicked some ass.

Exactly. And unfortunetly, I'm afraid they will tell him that person is Johnny FuckheadWhoever the FO tells him he wants

Good hire for Cleveland. If you demote Pettine to DC where he belongs and hire a qualified head coach you might have something. You'll certainly win more than 4 games!
-
Who the fuck knows what was going on in the FO? part of the plan and their pieces fell into place? being optimistic.

"WE'VE GOT TO GET IT RIGHT!'
ok after having no plan to get it right, everyone under the sun that was a big name on their list turned you down....
loggins and pettina, someone over there and now they're over here.
the scrambled eggs idea of putting a coaching staff together.
it can't be any worse from what we've seen in recent years..... OR COULD IT???

I really don't see him being a option, unless they trade the farm for 1.. Lets just give Hoyer weapons everywhere and see how he does. Take a risk later in the draft not a reach @4..
4- Watkins
26 Robinson
35- Hyde or Seastrunk
Then build OL and LB/DB with the rest of the picks

If it gets worse, it could get better with a total house cleaning..
