Good hire for Cleveland. If you demote Pettine to DC where he belongs and hire a qualified head coach you might have something. You'll certainly win more than 4 games!

ok after having no plan to get it right, everyone under the sun that was a big name on their list turned you down....

the scrambled eggs idea of putting a coaching staff together.

I really don't see him being a option, unless they trade the farm for 1.. Lets just give Hoyer weapons everywhere and see how he does. Take a risk later in the draft not a reach @4..

                  4- Watkins

                  26 Robinson

                  35- Hyde or Seastrunk

Then build OL and LB/DB with the rest of the picks

We'll just have to watch it all play out. We have all been, pardon the phrase, "witness" to how not to succeed since 99. Who's to say that what is happening now is the wrong way. It may turn out that it was in fact the right way. If any of us in here had a clue how to assemble a winner in the NFL we certainly would not be in here.

I had a PM chat with the Great Zomboni, agreed Johnny Football © has a high ceiling of a Fran Tarkenton- and a floor of Ryan Leaf or Ki-Jana Carter. I'm taking the floor.

"ESPN's Chris Mortensen stated on NFL Insiders that new Browns OC Kyle Shanahan "loves" Kirk Cousins."

No surprise. I heard he wanted Cousin to start the season over RG3. He's coach some decent talent and been in the league long enough to see a QB that can be good in this league.

So Cousins and Hoyer it is! If it doesn't work out, there's a nice 2015 class waiting.

Curious as to why you would say that? He was the OC with RGIII and they hardly ran a west coast offense with him as the QB.

It's definitely an evolved WCO. Not like shurmurs.

I'll take it over norv turners run the ball 5 times per half.

Edit: I wasn't a big fan of Washington's offense regardless though. Hopefully he can work something out here tho.

Just going off his background info. I don't think Kyle knew WTf he was running in wash. He was trying to capitalize on the read option fad at the time. And it blew up. Apparently that's what they ran in Houston when He was the OC there. Maybe the redskin fans can add something to this hire.

It blew up into a home playoff game. I'll take a blow up like that. Again, I think he showed that he could adjust his gameplan quickly in the one game they played against us with Cousins at QB.
