Yes, Ray Farmer will be better in dealing with free agents because not only is he more respected in the NFL, but he's a former player, so they will relate on that level and he'll be able to talk to them in their own language.

and the image that he and pettine sell is that of toughness. i mean look at these guys.
i wouldn't want to fuck with either one of them. and i think players respect that.
i'm really hoping that farmer can put together a scouting staff that equals his skills.
let's see what happens in FA and the draft and we'll prob get a lot of answers to a lot of questions.
