I'm so glad these dicks are gone.
We have the right setup now.
Maybe Farmer and Pettine will disappoint like all the rest, but I feel we have the right setup for the first time since 99.
The coach coaches.
The GM, a real football guy, has complete control over scouting, draft, free agency etc.
The President handles scoreboards, tickets, uniforms, game experience, league meetings, blah blah blah.
And they all answer directly to the hands-on Owner.
No weasels with agendas and butthurt feelings from other organizations that have their hands in everything and want to satisfy their own egos that things are done their way.
Three solid young guys that are football lifers and that are committed to the Cleveland Browns.
Give them all 4-5 years Jimmy, come hell or high water.
Time to try that continuity thing we speak of.

Maybe he'll learn a thing or two about player evaluations by watching Belichik do it.

Some folks look at our coaches and front office and say we have a bunch of non proven no names. I say we have a bunch of guys that want to make a name for themselves, can't rest on their past achievements and don't have mega egos that get in the way of good judgement. There are no guarantees, but hard work and drive is what makes people successful.
