    Didn't he have a pretty poor senior bowl, and people were talking about some drop issues with him... Catching with your hands is great, if you actually catch it.

    Already on record that Watkins would be an awesome pairing, but as a purely complementary WR in the draft it would be hard to touch Abbrederis... a pure possession guy with a fabulous pair of hands...

    Well hello fellow Evans doubter... I think the combine may be very revealing agility-wise. I'm not sure it's there. And agree that he was at least as disciplined a route-runner as JM was a pocket passer..

    Im big on Abberderis. Im starting to warm up to Evans. If he runs a 4.55 or better, with his hands and ability to win the jump balls, he definitely has a place in a starting lineup. He runs the comeback routes perfect. Not sure where anyone's getting the lazy route runner impression. If you question his route running ability, you have to question Watkins (did Watkins run anything other than flies or screens?). Evans blocking ability is top notch also.

  • I don't know about the routes, but the way Evans runs is just awkward. I don't know how to explain it, but it just isn't very fluid at all. Not that it's a knock on is ability to play in the NFL, just strange.

    Imagine- Josh Gordon wide right, Landry split left, Evans and Cameron on either side of the line. Seastrunk lined up behind Hoyer... could be deadly.

    why not snatch Amaro or Ebron instead of Evans?

  • Evans is like 6-5 and is athletic, could be like the pass-catching, playmaking TE, Kellen Winslow Jr. was supposed to be.

    I just see mismatch nightmares for linebackers between him and Cameron spreading them out, Gordon, Landry and Benji taking the top off leaves running room for a guy like Seastrunk, who has good vision and picks good lanes to slip through...

    just a thought.

    Negatives? Very immature, moody, and I'm not sure

    how smart he is, pattern running wise. I wouldn't draft him in

    any first round. Doesn't seem to be all that coachable maybe,

    since even Manziel tried to get him to calm down. Evans sulked

    and turned away from him.

    Good luck being that immature in the pros...
