2000s Eminem Madonna Britney Spears Coldplay U2
Above are the Top 5 selling artists of each decade since the 1900 decade...for what its worth.
(That Bill Murray sure gets around, no?)
By the way...I understand these sales deal with new releases. e.g. The Beatles sold in the 2000s more than anyone but Eminem....but they were all "older released songs" not really new stuff.

Jackson was the 80s Madonna was big but I think that's like a Beatles stones question. Jacksons musical legacy is greater than madonnas will ever be I think

Well, per this, Prince tops both of them.

Personally I think Nirvana sucks ass. I guess to those of you who grew up during that time, you think they are great. I never even listened to there songs. Led Z., Black Sabbath, they are much better.

Personally I think Nirvana sucks ass. ... I never even listened to there songs.
I'll defend absolutely your right to hate Nirvana and absolutely respect that it's not your cup of tea, I fully understand that, but to say you hate the band without ever hearing their music is ridiculous. Perhaps you mean you hate their influence, or the grunge culture in general?

I meant listen to them loyally. I obviously listened to them or I wouldn't dislike them. Not as you british say my cup of tea. I thought the 90's in general music sucked.

Interesting to note here: Only Madonna and U2 had careers where their "new music" ratings put them in the Top 5 in 3 different decades. Not Elvis/Sinatra/Stones/Bing or anyone else did that.

I'd rate Ronnie James Dio certainly in my top five rock voices that have mattered. BTW, the guitarists in the video aren't bad either.....both worthy of HOF induction.

Cat Stevens? Never liked the guy.
Cat Stevens? Never liked the guy.
Yusuf Islam went full Retard especially around the time that he supported the fatwa against Salman Rushdie.

^ Easily the best non-Ozzy Sabbath tune right there. Sign of the Southern Cross close second.
