We have to find a way to draft this guy, maybe if we trade down.

Sweet jesus, this guy can lay the wood and break up the pass.

We don't need a Kam Chancellor - that's TJ Ward - they both play SS which is a position where many of the big hits come from b/c that position generally plays more shallow and is allowed to come up on the run game and make hits. What we need is an Earl Thomas, who plays FS similar to Ed Reed and Polumalu, a guy who has great instincts in the passing game and is there to help the corners and shut down the intermediate-to-deep passing game.... find me one of those guys... Pryor has been graded as more of a SS, while HaHa Clinton-Dix would make a stellar FS.

IF we can't keep TJ Ward I would be 100% on board with this guy with a tradedown to 8 or if he miraculously is there at #26. If we tag or reach agreement with TJ we have other more pressing needs.

          This guy is impressive though.

I think Pryors more of a complete package at safety who can play Free or Strong.

Dude's a beast, we definitely have some bigger needs there though. Wouldn't hate getting him at all.

I know everyone wants all of these offensive weapons but we need to draft the BEST players... I think Calvin Pryor is one of them. Good post.

I think Poly plays more Strong Safety, like TJs position..? I don't know but yeah, I agree we need that Free Safety guy. Gipson did alright but he's not a world beater from what I've seen. Mathieu has been better than Gipson.

As for Pryor.. if we can't resign Ward then I would be "all-in" in picking a Safety high in the draft. Pryor is good though.

                Personally I like Dixon from Baylor. He's a beast. Plus, I think he's a third/fourth rounder!

I guess the whole point is.. there are a lot of fine players about to enter the NFL, it happens every year... I hope Ward recognizes this and doesn't let his recent probowl go to his head. We haven't won a lot of games, some of it was his fault as well, missed tackles, not wrapping up, he's been suspect in coverage sometimes. He is a hell of a player and I would like him around to achieve success with us as a team but I would not break the bank for him.. I hope he is fare and gives us some so he can stay...
