Who does everyone want with our first 3 picks?

Just for fun, who does everyone want?
1. QB Manziel
1. WR Odell Beckham Jr.
2. OG David Yankey

Same as you but I want Bridgewater instead of Manziel. Would be very happy with the rest.

Either of the above picks would suit me.

Too early to say, ask me after the Pro Days.
#1A, any of the following left on the board , Watkins, Bridgewater, Bortles or Clowney- no trade up, please. I've made no secret I think Maziel's bust factor is way too high to take a chance on him. I'd love to know how Johnny Football did on the Wonderlich- if he didn't score well, definitely pass.
1B, Best available OG or ILB, WR here if we don't take Watkins.
2, Carlos Hyde or Tre Mason if there. If Carr falls this far, or Garrapolo are still on the board, this or the third round pick is where I go qb shopping, if we don't take a qb @ 1A.
-
I'd say we could fill OG and ILB in free agency, as well as picking up an RB, perhaps. You'll then put the list of biggest needs at QB, WR, CB, OLB and maybe another RB & OG, along with other depth and probably the top three there would be addressed with the top three picks, unless they think hoyer is a franchise level QB.
-
#1A: Clowney, Bridgewater, Watkins, Mack - probably in that order I keep liking Teddy more and more the more I watch him
#1B: Best available CB, ILB, WR
#2: Best available OG - possibly Yankey or Xavier Su'a-filo (I might like him more than yankey - either one of these guys may go in the 1st though)

Yankey won't last until the second round. You might want to reverse the order: Yankey first Beckham in the 2d.

If we didn't though, I bet Xavier Su'a-filo will be there and I'd be happy with him. Another good high-character talent.

1a - Watkins
1b - Big 3 QB that slides/Carr/Garoppolo
2 - Yankey
3a - Sankey

Can we get Wankey too? We already had Stankey Leg aka LeBron James.

Well, you don't know who is going to be on the board ... But Bridgewater would be my choice at 4 if he is there, then grab a WR like Allen Robinson of Penn St. in the back end of the first round, and secure a RB like Tre Mason before he is coming off the board. I think that would be a nice trifecta.
As far as what the Browns do, they may pass on Bilgewater and go for a bigger dude later in the draft, and Pettine's going to want some defense.
This really is a question for after free agency.

1. Bortles
1b. Clinton-Dix
2. Beckham Jr.
3 playmakers... realistic? doubt it

Projecting these is close to impossible until the FA signings are completed. Totally ignoring that I am trading down to 8 with Minnesota and picking up their 2nd and 4th round picks. Then in the 1st and 2nd rounds I am taking
1st Round
#8 - Khalil Mack MLB
#26 - Justin Gilbert CB
2nd Round
#35 - David Yankey G
#40 - Jordan Matthews WR
3rd Round
#71 - Garoppolo QB
#83 - Shayne Skov ILB
4th Round
#102 - Charles Sims RB
#122 - J Prosch FB
For later round picks I would want to pick up Jeff Janis WR and Jeff Matthews QB

In a world in which Fan'sSpeak on the clock draft simulations could actually happen...
#4 Clowney
#26 Manzel
#35 Benjerman
Wishful thinking first 3 picks
#4 Bridgwater
#26 Dennard
#35 Benjerman
More Realistic
#4 Manzel
#26 Yankey
#35 Beckham JR
What will actually happen...
#4 Donald
#26 Lee
#35 McCarron
facepalm....

Honestly, Manzel did not impress me at the combine. He is supposed to be a mover but ran like a 4.6. For a guy as small as him I would rather see him run at least a 4.5. I know a lot of it is quick feet and moves, but if your going to run that slow at least he a compact build like Wilson does. It really drops him down to QB #3 for me, but at the same time I would still be happy with him or any of the top 3 QBs.
Now I'm not going to pick a 2nd round guy here, because I do not know enough about the 2nd rounders yet to want to make a selection, but I honestly hope we got BPA instead of for need. Honestly would not be mad if we ended up picking two WR with the top 3 picks.
4. Top 3 QB
26. Allen Robinson or Brandin Cook
35. BPA
or
4. Watkins
26. Carr or Garoppolo
35. BPA
I do NOT want to see us draft Clowney even if he is there. I do not think he has the heart to be a top tier player. He might be until he gets his first FA deal, but then he is going to stop trying. I see him being a guy who is going to take a stubbed toe and turn it into a 3 week injury sit. Mack I wouldn't be mad with, but honestly I don't want to see us take an OLB again first pick unless we trade down a bit. Top 3 QB or Watkins and we should be solid.
Robinson or Cook are both going to be good WR in this league. Book it. I think they are even a safer pick than Evans, even though he will likely be gone by the time we pick. Both good speed and hands with great college production. Robinson is obviously taller and slightly slower while Cook is shorter and more of a burner, but that evens them out in my book. They won't be on Watkins level likely but both will be good, especially when pairs with Gordan and Cameron.
I have been very impressed with both Carr and Garoppolo as QB prospects. Carr was talked about as a top 5 draft pick along with Bortles for a while until he didn't have a great game against USC in his bowl game, but he put up great numbers during the season, improved every season, and has good production. If the bowl games had been reversed for Bortles and Carr, Carr would be talked about as the possible #1 while Bortles would be seen as a late 1st early 2nd round pick. I don't think one bowl game makes or breaks a player, I think their season and career production do and in that aspect I would rate Carr even higher than Bortles. I also take a lot of stock in things like the East-West Shrine game and the Senior Bowl. You are taking players and putting them up against the top producers in the NCAA. And in these games both Carr and Garoppolo shined (Carr only being in the Senior Bowl). Garoppolo has went from no name to star because he has shown the ability to play with the big boys in these games. His only knock is that within the top 5 QB's, his arm is likely the weakest. The thing though is he also has the quickest release and the most zip on his passes. He showed during a particularly windy practice at the senior bowl that even though he only has an average arm, he can still zip the ball through the wind (Carr did equally well during this practice).
This is why I honestly believe we go QB/WR or WR/QB in the first round, and honestly I would be more than happy with any scenario where we did as long as we grabbed these players.

1a- clowney, Bridgewater, or trade back
1b- Kyle fuller, gilbert, or dennard. We have to land one of these 3. The rest of the cb class looks like duds unless one of the small school kids busts out.
2- whichever wr is left out of this very deep class. Lee, Beckham, Matthews, and Robinson are all very good options for the #2 wr.

...
1. Blake Bortles - my favorite QB in the draft. I think he's going to Houston first overall though, so I'll back up and say Manziel.
1. Brandin Cooks
2. Carlos Hyde
I think the Browns can address other needs later in the draft, through free agency and possibly through draft deals. A lot of picks and a lot of different ways to go with them. Going this route shores up three distinct holes in the Browns' attack and I'd like to see that focus.
