Lions First To Go After TJ

[TopDawg31]

wasting no time at all

[cambridgeho]

Them and like 12 other teams. Profootball talk has all the updated rumors as does bleacher report. All we know is that TJ wants to win and get paid, and at the moment the Lions have a damn good team for that to happen.

People around here just need to accept he is no longer a member of the Browns... he's gone

[Tim Couch Pulls Out]

Sign Byrd and Whitner and people will be saying "TJ Who?"

[D Bone]

Hopefully TJ will put at least one healthy season together for his next team, like the one he did for us.

nothing is done yet.

and if you think the lions are a tj ward away from playoff contention you're seriously mistaken.

he just wants the money, like every other money grabbin mother fucker out there.

Pretty much. His agent put out a statement that said they've been negotiating but haven't had a deal that works for both sides.

Meaning, we offered him less than he wants.

Or it's just not structured right. They could be offering him the money he wants but in a contract loaded with escalators and incentives rather than in guaranteed money.

[miktoxic]

well the question really is 2 fold: does he just want the highest paid contract w/guaranteed money

OR

will he restructure a deal with incentives and guaranteed money from the browns?
