    Good for him. Strange part is his contract is reported $5.5 mil / year. We're paying Whitner $7mil / year now, so I wonder if there's a bonus for TJ or if he took less money to play on a potential SB team

    Contract going to be high 6-7 mill a yr range. Even better news

    Smith still has one of the best rbs ever and a pretty good coach. I think hell be fine

  • jamaal charles might be great but 6 years is already twice the average rbs lifespan in the NFL.

    if not for their OL they'd never would have had the season they did last year. watch and see unless they pull some miracles with FA and the draft to reset their OL, smith will get pummeled this year.

  • Who are you kidding ? TJ was stud with us, he'll be missed and we should have chased him.

    I wish him luck he'll do well in Denver. Should have been kept a Brown.

  • What I like is he was so irked by his low FA ranking he sounds like he'll have lots of motivation to show how good he is.

    Ward is only a year younger, so it's not that big of a draw back.

  • Little sad to see tj go but I won't lose any sleep over it
