Would also like to add a get well and offer prayers to Jim Kelly on his battle with a reaccurance of cancer. Always a tough competitor so I know
he will beat it.

came from donald trumps USFL team where brian sipe also had played. NFL quickly squashed that idea. too bad they had a great team.
yeah kelly was a true warrior on the field. great gunslinger. shame they never won it all. thoughts and prayers to kelly and the bills.

Had the courage to vote against Modell.
If I had to pick a second franchise, it would be the Bills.
If you like blue collar, rust belt, Lake Erie cities that haven't won since 1964 but were teased unmercifully by runs with University of Miami QBs ... then you have to realize that there are two of us in this together.
RIP, you codgy old badger ... I hope Buffalo, and the NFL, keep the Buffalo Bill tradition you started alive and well.

Four consecutive Super Bowl appearances is a team record that won't be broken in my lifetime and prolly a long time after that. A missed field goal, a few bad calls and the ball taking some bad bounces prevented the Bills from becoming a true dynasty. I respect their determination to play lights out every game, every play. I'd be proud to be a Bills fan (at least one weekend a season).
hell< I still get pleasure watching the juice run in snowy Buffalo

just wanted to pass my condolences on to those bills fans.
i consider the bills a lot like the browns with it's blue collar fans and it's location/weather.
now with the addition of pettine i'm sure there's a lot of shared sentiment between the 2 FOs.
class act buffalo. good luck this year.

Like Zombo said, Ralph Wilson & the Rooneys opposed Modell's move. For that Mr. Wilson, thank you again.
I hope the Bills stay put, but the Toronto games they signed on for are a disturbing sign. It's great for Toronto, but bad for Bills fans.
It may be a "race to LA" soon, with Jax, the Raiders, and possibly the Chargers. I hope not, we know the pain of losing a team, and frankly I'm still not over it.

Totally agree Zombo. Nice post. Bills have been my second team for awhile now and they have some classy fans that have been through some of the same shit we have.
