Jonathan Paul Manziel

That ain't shit. Trick shot Tanney can hit the window in the door 3 times running, or hit the white dot in the "T".

So many haters. You guys are disappointing.
Yup, everybody's slobbering over JF now, even Jaworski showing how he's improved his technique. Weeden could hit clay pigeons with a football too.

In some of yalls minds I think you just say draft the biggest QB and hope...that's the most simplistic way to draft.
maybe we should just pick the biggest guy available"bga" instead of best player available "bpa" lol
Any thing different and out of the norm some people cant see working or don't comprehend....
I said it from day one...JF is the real deal......I still say it
let him go and we will be sorry

I've admittedly been up and down on Manziel, but to your point: I have this gut feeling that Manziel in three years is going to be that guy who everyone looks at and wonders why they didn't draft him. It'll be damn interesting to see where he goes.
-
I like Manziel for his passion to win but when that translates into his decisions to overstep his capacity to survive big boy hits, even college puppy hits, it bodes bad for his longevity. Put Manziel's mind in a more FB type body then ya got somethin'.

i've done a total 360 on manziel.
after seeing more of him than just the snotty spoiled brat clips and him hanging with every celeb he can cling on to, i actually got to see the kid as a football player from a couple of shows recently. i think he has a desire that will light up a locker room and sidelines. i think he wants to win more than anything, sometimes to a fault. i still think he needs to work on some things (some of those deep balls that float ain't going to cut it in cleveland in december, and he needs to be stay in the game which means he can ill afford to get hit in the NFL).
but i put him head and shoulders over bridgewater. bortles is a safer bet with his prototypical size etc. but the intangibles manziel brings......you can't just teach. so i'd take manziel over the other QBs in the draft as i see it now.
i don't know if he's really worth the #4 BUT conceivably he might be gone by then. if farmer and pettine want this guy they have done a brilliant job of showing no interest to this point.
another 40 days and we'll all find out.

OH BTW, josh gordon on NFL network tonite @ 8pm.
mccarron fans he's on @ 7 pm, same network.

You do realize that a total 360 means you end up where you were at the start...
Sure, if you're only rotating in a single plane - presumably Mik's total 360 was occurring in multiple planes, resulting in him not only rotating to face the other way, but also standing on his head.
Yes, I'm a math geek.
-
yeah a 360 means you turn around and are looking and standing in the same direction you were before, unless within that 360 you learn something.
a 180 or an 'about-face' would have been more proper but i hate military jargon and was taught never look back and always stay straight.
hey if i ever want to buy a house in gay miami i will always look up my friend zombo:
"you can do anything at zombo.com........anything at all!" (yo the shit is hilarious. give it a good minute to listen to the gay genie).
hmmmmmmmmm.

LOL.. and I am just a single-plane flat-earther clinging to my guns and bible and the belief that JF is not "the guy"...

I'm neither particularly high or low on Manziel, to be honest. If we got him at 4, I wouldn't love it, but I'd be ok with it. If we got him at 26, I'd be ecstatic. I just hope we don't pick him at 4, expect him to be the saviour, give him no more weapons/protection than last year's team and then slate him if he doesn't get us to the playoffs in year 1. I also really, really hope we don't get Derek Carr.
-
Yea, no Carr for me as well. He is definitely Weeden 2.0. Melts under pressure. I gotta admit JFF continues to grow on me as well but I am still having a hard time being convinced of the value of picking someone as risky as him at four.
-
Hell yes. JFF showing his skills. But I doubt we will end up with him. He will go #1 or 2. Unless we trade up.

Maybe we should trade up to 2 before Jax or Oak get the chance......kidding.....kindaHell yes. JFF showing his skills. But I doubt we will end up with him. He will go #1 or 2. Unless we trade up.

This is some funny shit. If we do pick this kid they better get Mike Evans to catch his over the moon throws... i don't know if Gordon has the hops required to catch Manziel prayer bombs.

If you'd actually watch the games, you'd realize the prayers he threw up were mostly on third and long just out of field goal range. He knows when to take risks. When he gets behind a deep ball, its as pretty as can be.This is some funny shit. Well see, thats the problem. When all i knew of him was 3 watched games i liked him. When i watched all his tapes on draftbreakdown i didn't like what i saw anymore. That was a guy who took off alot of times he shouldn't have or didn't need to, a guy who makes his receivers constantly adjust to catch his off passes, has the ball in his hands way to long constantly wanting to be the hero/playmaker instead of just getting the ball to his playmaker aka Evans which he did alot when he did decide to throw. IMO Evans should be a higher draft pick than Manziel. Bortles and Manziel make Bridgewater look like Einstein. If i had Brian Hoyers fart in a pickle jar... i wouldn't trade it for any of them.
