What are your plans for Superbowl Sunday?

PARTY ... at my house.
Ribs, potato skins, chips and homemade salsa, deviled eggs, maybe a few veggies and vanilla cream soda (I am such a party animal)
I might just have to pick up one of those Cardinals Tees they are selling on every street corner. No Black and Urine to be seen anywhere. It's a wonderful thing.

Have my chili cooked and cooling waiting for the fridge....I think chili tastes better after sitting a day in the fridge, and it allows me to pick off the excess fat once it cools in the fridge....I use 3 lb ground beef and 1 lb Italian sausage, so it can throw out some grease that needs to be skimmed.

I had some Black Bean and Andouille chili at a restaurant/bar in Tucson the other day it was freaking awesome. I'm gonna have to try to make that at home sometime if I can find a place that sells Andouille.
Chili DEFINATELY tastes better after cooling. I always put mine in the fridge before eating.

Thunder Canyon Brewery in the Foothills Mall on La Cholla. They have all kinds of "home brews" and a ton of domestics and imports there as well. Decent place if a little pricey.

Thanks. I went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had the pizza. I will have to try the chili next time.

Well over 20 friends and family mixed bag fans several browns several steeler several bengal,raven and even a colt and a redskin fan and several titan fans everyone in their own teams gear..
Homemade super hot football chili,nachos,chips and dips,great local pizza,fried chicken and fixins 3 kegs of millers and a big mix of hard liquirs including my favorite imported scotch..
We do this every year but when the browns get there 6 of us will be at the superbowl so everyone else is on their own!...

Our variation is to poke a hole in a hot Runza and insert a chunk of cheese. They're the best.

There is no substitution for Andouille. Smoked sausage just doesn't cut it....real andouille is most pig tripe with some wine and various other seasoning...
Luck for me I have a market that carries it...if not...I couldn't do my gumbo.....almost did that for today, but that takes 2-3 hours pretty much non-stop, and didn't feel like doing that yesterday

I'm home, in front of the 50" plasma. Already had my steak, working on a bottle of vodka with a fridge full of beer. I'm entered in about 5 football square boards, got my fairly decent numbers by my side with lap top nearby. Just have family over, with the neighbors bopping back-n-forth.
I usually attend the same bar every Super Bowl, but had the flu this week and thought I'd take it more low key so I can return to work tomorrow.
