  • God that would be awesome. What a wet dream scenario, getting Xavier in the third round. Carr has IMO as good of a shot as any other QB in this draft. Let's hope something like this plays out, Clowney is a fucking beast

  • 1. If Clowney is there at 4, I see a trade being made.....

    2. No way will Carr be there late in the 2nd. I see 2 to 3 QB's going top 10, and 2 to 3 more going late 1st an early 2nd.

    3. Hope Botels is there at 4 but not likely, And not sure Carr will be there at 26.

If we could come out of the first round with Sammy and Carr that alone would make the draft.......

Give me a guard in the 2nd and I'm dancen in the streets......

  • That would be an amazing draft if it happened.

if they could get evans, gilbert and manziel and the best OL (left in the draft at that point) that would make the draft. 4 guys with ten picks.

not too much to ask for.

  • Although I love mock drafts that see the Browns taking a non-QB at 4, I think the reality is that they'll pick "their QB guy" with their first pick. I could see a trade back if they feel comfortable and Clowney is still available, but I just don't think they'll risk too much before pulling the trigger on a QB.

I dig anyone who does as much work as you do, EmDigs. Doesn't mean I love all your picks, but I respect the work sir.

Agreed. I especially liked the smaller school prospects.

As soon as I saw no Johnny Football at #4, I shut it off.

That's because he was off the board at that point in my mock

Okay. I agree. Good Draft if it comes true.

  • Amazing draft, Mr. EmDiggy ...

Was wondering, if Clowney goes to the Texans (who say they may draft two qb's, and there

are several guys out of the top four that could play....)... at the first overall pick....

    what then? Mack?

Nah- unless it's total smoke, the Texans will take the qb they prefer @ #1 overall. In that scenario, it's absolutely nuts for the Browns to trade up. But- if Clowney's still on the board at #4 (doubtful) you can bet Atlanta will be ringing Farmer's phone off the hook. Actually, I'd love Atlanta to trade with the Rams, it increases the odds Watkins will be there @ #4.

  • well we all know zimmer wants a QB but he's not in love with JF (so they say)..........if bortles is there @4 the vikes might be willing to trade some picks and we can still get a STARTER with their #8 and use their other offering to move up and grab another guy that would immediately change the browns in a total upside, plus give them ammo next year.

    something to think about.

LOL Mik- you got Evans on the brain, (I'm not opposed) I can tell. Watkins won't be there @ #8. So that gives us the #8, #26 and two high seconds. (that's the draft value chart talking). If the Vikes are hot after a qb, I ask for their 2015 second rounder on top of it.

  • Thanks Gang! Question… With the Top 3 picks you guys have, what would you rather see:

    QB/WR/WR

    WR/QB/NT

    QB/CB/RB

    None of the above;

    DE: Clowney

    ILB: Shazier

    OG: Yankey

DE: Clowney - also improves the stats of whatever OLB rushes behind him

ILB: Shazier - Add 10 lbs each year for the first two years and I think he has a hall of fame career at ILB. Would go top 10, maybe top 5 with all the same stats and weighed 255

OG: Yankee or Su'a Filo - would also consider an OT or CB here.

Follow this up with a WR at 3a or trade up to the lower second for one.

    Um, WR/QB/OG

    OR QB/WR/CB

    OR WR/OG/QB

    OR WR/ILB/OG/QB

All depends on how the top 3 picks fall. I'm not opposed to Clowney @ #4, but I doubt he's going to last that long.

Hey "74", enough of that "O'le bullshit!"

Now is that just because Clowney is so fast on his first step guys can't even get out of their stance to block him? I agree with the comment Ourlads made about him- if you just watch his highlights, you'd swear he was from another planet.

That play against Michigan has to be one of the most amazing ones I've ever seen- the guy looked like he was shot out of a cannon.
