I have not seen a motive yet for this person, but I am glad that the cops caught him before it happened.

Some report I heard said he planned his attacks as a memorial of the Columbine HS massacre on 4/20 - but it fell on Easter Sunday......
this was a miraculous prevention ....

That is what I saw also, but not sure if there was a more individual motive, like being bullied\drugs\pscyho or a mixture of them.

In Minnesota legal age to buy a hand gun is 21.... and they are not usually that cheap.

As the guys whose attitude is "gee whiz, nothing can be done so free guns for everyone" love to say there's already a ridiculous amount of guns out there, many of which can be obtained cheaply and without paperwork. Never mind that 200 years or so of poorly thought out gun policies have gotten us to this point, the genie.is, in fact,out of the bottle.

Yup.. Should have had more paperwork to fill out to get the bombs & explosives. Or a waiting period of at least a week. Or a ban on "assault style" explosives.
Despite our disagreements on this issue Cysko, I think you and I would vouch for each other's sanity. Having said that, does it not stand to reason, that a sane person such as myself, or you, should be able to legally protect ourselves from Edgar Allen Pennywise and his ilk?

Agreed. But that's achieved with enforcement of existing laws, not adding new ones.
