Recall that when LeBron got his gold Hummer while he was still in high school? The bank made his mother the loan because they knew that he would be going direct into the NFL and getting picked first plus making early deals with the likes of Nike etc. They knew the money would be rolling in, so they took the chance. Same here.

  • Just heard from Mary Kay (yea, that bitch) that the Browns in a perfect world would draft Robinson at 4 and Bridgewater using the 26 pick to trade down. Supposedly Teddy is Farmers guy

    I am down with this

  • Also hearing that Hyde/WR is on their radar with the 35th pick.

From what I have been hearing it is Mack if he falls, if not they try to trade out. If they can't the are going to pick either Robinson or Matthews. I don't think they are sold on one or the other of those two yet. Dark horse candidate is Mike Evans in they some how come to the conclusion that they can't take oline that early and can't trade down.

  • Who the fuck wants a pink escalade?

Any of thousands of Mary Kay Cosmetics peddlers nationwide...

And no... the company is not owned by Mary Kay Cabot.

Often agents front their signees coinage upon signing...

Love Mack... Evans is near the top of my bust list.

I wish shed get a job doing that....
  • This kid is going to be special.

This entire situation is almost a mirror of Aaron Rodgers. From potential TOP 5 pick to being dragged in the mud. Falling deep in round one.

The Kid can play. Anyone that watches him on film knows that.

(Mack, Watkins, Robinson) with the 4th overall & Bridgewater would really make my day.

  • Just listening to a little radio bullshit and ( sorry if this is too in depth haha) some guy with an Italian name says that he was at dinner with Mike Pettibe last night and he reports to the Browns will take an impact defensive player at 4.

He also says that Jimmy Haslam and Joe Banner had commissioned an in-depth study of the top quarterbacks the results of which say that Teddy Twatwater is the best fit for the Cleveland Browns.

Since it is highly likely that he will be there at 26 and that many analysts have him as being the guy closest to starting in the NFL that would not surprise me.

  • Right.

  • I could live with Mack and Bridgewater.

Don't think it will go down that way ... but i could live with it.

    Zombo

  • Oh I will live with whoever they pick.

Who knows what will fall to 26. This Italian guy also wouldn't rule out a trade down so who the fuck knows?

Could be it was just a reason to expense account a plate of calamari.

    WSS

  • I'd love Bridgewater at 26... I'd even trade a 3rd rounder to move up to 22-25 to get him... Bring on "the glove"

  • With Clowney and Mack likely off the board what impact D choice will be there at #4 anywhere near the value of the 4th pick? A DB? A. Donald?

Also how do you determine QB best fit to an offense with an OC committed to adapting to the players he has?

Sounds like another hike up Mt. Bullshit...

  • Bridgewater probably isn't falling past 15.

  • I don't see Bridgewater falling that far. If they trade up from 26 to get him though I could see that.

  • If we go Mack and Bridgewater, i'll run down East 4th street with my love muscle hanging out tonight. I will be ONE HAPPY Dawg!

    Look for me.

  • Oh I will live with whoever they pick.

Sal Palantonio was "The Italian Guy".

  • Well I'm glad Salvatore was misinformed to an extent. We did get an impact defensive player.

I think Bilgewater will be a good fit in Minnesota. They made a nice move. It worked out.

I don't particularly care about the Vikes so I don't have to start hating the kid.

My new Browns motto is pass the Kool Aid.

I still think he is the safest QB pick in the draft. They get an accurate, smart, mobile QB. His ceiling might not be as high as other QBs, but I think he is eventually considered a top 15 QB and can certainly send a team into the playoffs. More than anything I think he has the lowest bust potential out of all the QBs, including Johnny who is the biggest boom bust QB in the draft. You pair Bridgewater with a fantastic rusher in Peterson and let him work play action... wow.
