Which WR Are We Waiting For?
-
I think brass likes Nate Burleson more than the love he's getting around here. I think he'll work as a mentor AND put up decent yardage this season.

we have missed on a lot of good recievers

Well Shitsburgh just landed my guy[/quoteThis is a deep draft in WR, UDFAs who have the talent to start will still be around
They got that tiny spudnut Dri Archer as well, listed as a running back but to me a slot receiver/kick returner if ever I saw one. I could not believe his 40 time. Browns should have considered that he is one of the few players small enough to hide behind their new hobbit in the backfield without being seen. You could design plays around that.

Next draft... With the bills pick... So start watching more college football...4-12, not sure of the bills record...but we should pick top 5, again
Bermeck (Debbie downer today , and I'm low on beer...waaa wahh)

Open invite to mr farmer...
Please join my fantasy league ...my 10-yr old son can't play this season...need that auto-win.

Packers get Abbredaris and Janis

The people that know football are snubbing their noses at the experts that say it's a passing league, bring back the RB Farmer says.

Brandom coleman 6'6 225
Big strong receiver
Great measureables but has inconsistant hands.
Projected 3-4
With his physical measurements and assuming he improves his game he could be a very good receiver for us at 4
not as athletic as his size would indicateJared Abbrederis 6'1 195
Average size and mediocre to below average athletic ability
Excellent Intelligence and Football IQ
Great Hands and the best route runner of the draft
projected 4-5
Jeff Janis 6'3 219
Good sizeGREAT Athletic ability top performer in nearly all combine categories
8th fastest 40,6th most bench press,3rd on the cones,6th on shuttle,13th on vert jump and broad jump,
Lacks experience against top talent, plays conservatively
projected 3-4
After looking at the prospects that are left this is most likely "homerun" players i could find.
Janis worries me alot. Athletically he's the obvious choice with alot of high potential. But what I'm reading and seeing he seems to lack heart and unless he can find it or it can be brought out we would just be wasting a pick on him. looks like a mental wall to me...if it can be be torn down by the coaches or the team leaders he could be our number 2 receiver pretty simple stuff.
Coleman has the attributes of a number 1 receiver but lacks the football skills and knowledge
Abbrederis has the brains and knowledge to play the position of number 2 wideout but his attributes say slot receiver of which we have many.
I think the safest pick for us would be Abbrederis
The highest risk highest reward would be janis
Coleman could develop into a monster....but there is just not much other than size going for him.
My pick in the 4th would be Abbrederis He could EASILY replace at least greg little...
But i would be happy with either of these 3 even if we had to move up a little to get them.Brandom coleman 6'6 225

Interesting Screen name.
I would like your assessment of that WR that we picked up late in the draft: Fucking Nobody. What was his 40 time, vertical leap, ypc average/ etc.?

Another thing: it is highly possible that Pettine and Shanahan actually like what they have in Greg Little....and that they think they can "coach him up" to make him a much better receiver and much more of a threat.
The guy has almost all the tools, and perhaps they see that and think they can get him to be what he can be.
