Fantasy League

I have never done the fantasy thing and would like opinions on what would be the best FF site for a beginner? I prefer something that is good long term, I realize the first year will be frustrating.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Ill ask since the thread exists. Is there a board league? If so, if there an opening? Also, I plan to put together a dynasty/franchise league this year. If I get the bylaws written, is there any interest in that from those on the board?
Salary cap, contracts, IDP, no team defense, auction style initial draft with rookie drafts in subsequent years. You keep your entire team, have a practice squad, accumulate unused cap space each year which can be used for bonuses in later years. Free agents, restricted free agents, franchise tags....fairly in depth. If theres enough interest ill start a second league for the board (the initial is for some local friends). Would welcome voting on scoring, number of teams, bylaws...all of it.

New Guys: we run four or five fantasy leagues every year. Probably six or seven with all the new Texans joining. Yahoo Leagues. Usually posted on here around August first with drafts right before the season starts. Competitive and fun but not too geeky.
