It's low risk because we likely gave next to nothing in terms of guarenteed money. Guys still around in FA to this point don't get paid much more than Minimum and next to nothing in guarneteed money. If he is healthy, there is a good chance he can be a 1000+ yard WR again. If not then he gets pushed out the door for someone else. I feel like we are picking up guys with injury histories and trying to smash them together into one productive WR season, but if it gets us through the year then who the hell really cares.

Yup... low/ no guarantee and liberal incentive clauses to make it possible for the vet to approach paydays of his days gone by if he produces.

I haven't read from my post back, but I just saw this news and couldn't be happier. Not sure how the rest of you feel, but I'm happy with Farmer and as I said many times in the Tavern during the draft, Ray knows what he's doing and we'll be fine without Puffy............ I'm sure the sky is falling crowd will loudly disagree.

I know who he is. I just didn't memorize his height/weight/speed etc. or all of his statistics over the years.
