  • Well as Steve Wyche said this morning on NFL AM, "He's the gift that keeps on giving.". implying of course that he is great for the media commentators. Lot of truth there.

  • If he's smart he will stay single for a decade or so.

and when he wants to tie the knot he can borrow one of his celeb friends' lawyers to do the pre-nup.

I just click the link and it went to the shower of champagne.

the Fox use was pretty much middle of the road.

  • 4.5- Although I think it could be had sooner. Btw, your name is still Douche Nozzle. That name makes me laugh.

  • 5

  • My attitudes mimics Doris Day's: Que sera, sera.

It would be great for JFF to become the reincarnation of Otto Graham, but nothing I do, nothing that I say, or think will affect the outcome of his career.

  • assuming he gets to play, and avoids serious injury

    Surprisingly good year 1.

Not so great year 2 but ok.

    Year 3 solid.

    Year 4 possible pro bowl.

    Year 5 - whenever elite.

    In my opinion.

  • Different distractions, being married or being single. I'm not sure one is better than the other; a case could be made both ways IMO.

Agree... If ready to settle down, then marry. If not, then don't.

I would suggest not following the path of your pseudo-namesake, i.e., marry and then act like you are not.

  • My love for Manziel comes from the feeling that he will do whatever he needs to to be a top quarterback and win games for his team. Whether it's this season or next (or after maybe), I'm not sure... That's not really the point to me. I have confidence that it WILL happen and that it will happen in Cleveland.

The only thing that makes me hesitant, is injury. Which is a very real possibility for a cat Manziel's size and skillset. I think injury is the only way he doesn't hit his potential.

  • Nah, it would have taken too long to do it your way. I did it my own way, but here it is in correct form

    1. 0%

    2. 0%

    3. 0%

    4.50%

    5.50%

    6.0%

The ex NFL players basically said it's because he is a QB, and the only 2014 drafted QB that partied. All the others spent a day out of the limelight, or even making news by not going home (Twatwater) and studying his ass off. They also asked if young QBs like Luck, RG3, ect... were doing the same thing, and the answer was no. When asked why Gronk wasn't getting hammered, they said because he's a TE and judged differently then the future face of the team QB.

Again, fair or not, it's his reality and he is not without guilt in building the monster. He didn't build it by himself, the media has helped, but he is accountable.

The simple fact is, nobody gives a rats ass what Bridgewater and Bortles were doing this weekend. Not even Vikings and Jax fans.

JFF though, well... you shouldn't give a fuck what he is doing but the media wants you to. Why? Cause when you click, watch, comment, they make $$$. If you hate him and you are shaking your fist and his absurd ability to drink on a holiday weekend or if you love him and are heading to defend him from the "haters" you are clicking the links, watching the story. It will only stop when people stop caring on both fronts. That will only happen probably when he is dead. He ends up being great and the savior of Cleveland? Get ready for more trolls coming out to make a dime off of him. He ends up sucking? Well might as well start a daily "I told you so" column. Either way you are gonna get paid by running behind the tracks of the JFF train.

There hasn't been such a polarizing figure in sports in years. The funny thing is its almost 100% completely hyped up bullshit to get you to click, for both the haters and the fanboys.

It wasn't a popular thing to say- but I pointed out when we drafted Manziel, the circus came along with him. Personally, no big deal that he went to Vegas. Let me emphasize that for those with the mistaken notion that I'm still somehow a JF hater. He might have thought the spotlight was pretty big @ A&M- he ain't seen nothing yet- the paparazzi will be on him constantly.

  • I love this forum... I never post on here but have always come here to read the articles and laugh at the douche water steeler fags who love big dicks smacking in them in the face... otherwise they wouldn't stick around like do.

As far as Johny goes... good luck kid... hope we don't see you play except in preseason.

  • I'm going to buy a really good camera and make some bucks selling pictures to tabloids.

My bad.....I guess the topic was too complicated.

Nah....but it would have just been one of a couple dozen or more all about the same subject: the future of JFF. So Z just puts them all together.

    Less particulate matter that way.

  • My life is complete now. Brady Quinn criticizing Johnny Manziel during a week where the Browns Board hasn't been so divided since Quinn and the Quinnettes left town. Johnny, you should stay in Cleveland and get punched in the mouth by an defensive lineman. It worked for Quinn.

Brady Quinn Believes Johnny Manziel Must Avoid Las Vegas to Be Successful By Kyle Newport, Featured Columnist May 27, 2014

Johnny Manziel, a former Cleveland Browns quarterback has some advice for you.

When Cleveland's rookie quarterback made a trip to Las Vegas for Memorial Day weekend, he received some backlash. Some wonder if Manziel is going to be a little bit too out of control now that he is in the NFL, so plenty of people are willing to give the phenom some tips.

Former Browns quarterback and current free agent Brady Quinn weighed in on Manziel's antics:

Of course, Quinn has already been in Manziel's shoes to some extent. Ironically, Cleveland traded up to No. 22 to draft Quinn back in 2007 and did the same thing to grab Manziel this year. It was just a few years ago that Quinn was viewed as the Browns' savior. Now the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner will look to turn the franchise around.

Quinn's personal life was never magnified the way that Manziel's is right now. Quinn may know the city of Cleveland pretty well, but it might be best to let the former Texas A&M star just be himself, seeing as how that's what got him to this point.

  • the only thing JM's camp did wrong this past weekend is everything.

now we all know and appreciate the kid being a kid and doing what a kid does and partying (more manziel though)......

and then there were the highlights of the OTHER cleveland browns players (some of them rookies) at veteran get togethers and benefits.
