Gilbert limps off practice field today....

Heard on NFL radio today that Justin Gilbert limped off the field today during OTAs.
Just our luck. Hopefully it's just something minor Luke a cramp or tweaked muscle....
Anyone know anything more about it?

On Browns Daily they quoted the coach as basically saying it was nothing serious... "just a bag of ice" I think was the quote. They also said that Justin was up and moving around after the ice came off.

Its been pretty humid. I'm not sure how much rain Cleveland is getting but Columbus has been getting a bunch. Humidity leads to cramping. Worilds came off the field today as well cramping.

I was driving out to the rig I'm working in south western PA and I heard it on the hourly news blurb on NFL radio and I started tweaking out.... I can't take anymore bad breaks for our team after the Gordon debacle that is still up in the air....

In his interview today, Pettine indicated nothing serious & said he thought he'd be back by next week.

Yep nothing serious. This time of year they take the more 'star' players off the field for anything and everything cause there's no reason to risk it.

Have to wait and see....I have seen guys out 6 weeks with injuries that were "nothing serious".

Analysis:
Gilbert left Wednesday's OTAs early to ice a sore knee, but it doesn't sound as if he'll be out of action long. The rookie remains in competition for a starting cornerback job, but has also been in the conversation about returning kicks and punts.
