Gipper--I don't know what Sploosh is but you could plant a 1015 in Vidalia and it would be a Vidalia onion. Lots of people come to Noonday, Tx. looking for Noonday Onion sets. All of their sets come from Crystal City, Tx.. It is all in the soil.
If you mash the top of a Noonday Onion down it will tend to make the onion bigger around but kind of flat. You can take one of these and slice it and eat it as a sandwich and they are great.

Sploosh...you know, from Holes, the movie.: Combining Peaches and Onions so you shoes and feet don't stink.:

To Ballpeen: I bought what appears to be some Sploosh hot sauce at Grandpa's Cheese Barn. It had the onions and peaches, plus other ingredients to make it haut sauce. Good stuff.

Apparently the 1015 gets its name from the optimum planting time: Oct 15.

Jerrah finally killed me on being a Cowturd fan. They are dead to me.
Should have taken Manziel, but I could have understood him passing on Manziel IF he took a defensive player. No, he took an offensive lineman first. Needs were: 1 Defensive lineman, 2 Linebacker 3 Cornerback 4 Running Back 5 Backup/future QB 6 Offensive lineman. A decent offensive lineman he could have got later rounds or via free agency or trade.
Unfortunately, once Jerrah is gone his son Little Stevie is going to take over....and I'll probably be dead before the Cowturds change hands again.
They'll go with Romeo and Weeden, and Weeden will start a couple of games at least because Romeo will hurt his back. The defense will be extra shitty, and they'll be lucky to win 4 games. Garrett and the whole staff will be gone by this time next year.
And Noonday onions are fantastic. Grown about 10 miles from here.

But, maybe Steve Jones will know better than Jerry and not name himself as the team's GM. Fair to say?

Even if he does, it's going to be tricky to out-do the fucked-up-ness of Jerrah's GM-ship.

Jerry is a dick with ears and the Cowboys will never be jack shit as long as he is running things. He is still trying to prove he can draft as good as Jimmy Johnson. There is about as much chance of that happening as a feist whipping two bulldogs. I am pissed at them and the Texans.
I watch teams that have Aggies on them or players that played high school ball around the east Texas area.

Jerrah handed over much of the personnel decisions to little Stevie a few years
ago.
Jerrah did the same thing he always does....tries to prove he's more smarterer than everybody else by going with an unconventional pick.

the one great thing that texas and ohio have in common is their love for football, at all levels.
i brought my friend from ny back to my hometown of sandusky, ohio and showed him the hs football stadium and he was in awe. sure it's not the biggest or the best but here in ny it's like soldiers field compared to a sandlot stadium. i watch some of the nationally televised games where they have the rankings of teams across the US and although it's always teams from florida or texas leading the pack, ohio is right there.
if you guys ever have a chance to go to ohio let the board know, because a lot of guys do a 3 day football binge thing where they'll go and se a powerhouse like massilon (OH) play at a stadium to rival any college team followed by OSU or a local akron, kent state etc. followed by the browns on sunday.
bloated on football. not bad in my book.

Got that right...
Many moons ago I took some college roomies to my packed, 14,000 seat HS stadium for game with our big rival. They could not believe the atmosphere.
Years later I took my folks to a Texas HS playoff game featuring my LaPorte Bulldogs. It drew 20k to the Astrodome... and it was an early round game.

The crux of the difference between you traveling honks and browns fans. We've stuck around through the worst and keep coming back for more.....the loyalty of a true dawg.
You're a quitting bandwagon hopper deserving of absolutely no respect.

choco--I was a Cowboy fan since 1960. Used to watch Eddie Lebaron in the Cotton Bowl for 1.00 ticket price. Jerry has ruined it for me and my hate for him is stronger than my love for the Cowboys.
The only time I go to Jerry World is when we have high school play offs. All of them are held there and it is a 3 day event. Our local high school team went to Ohio in 2005 to play a game in Columbus. It just so happened that it was the worst team we had in years. If there is a really really good player playing in high school I make it a point to go and watch them play.

Where does this "you're not Brown enough to be here" stuff come from? I gather over the years with enough shitty drafts there's been an influx and subsequent departure of "new fans," but is it really so bad while they're here? I imagine some of them suck and start shit, but Hog Dog's been pretty cool from what l can see. Maybe he's not a die hard Browns fan, but l like his perspective and have learned a few things from him.

Simple....they're not browns fans. They're manzealiots.
I know.....groundbreaking a stuff.

most of the manziel fans are very cool. hell i even am coming around to some of the hard heads. there are one or two that will just stop in to wave johnnies ball soaked hankie in the air just to piss us off, but by and large we are all just football fans waiting...............for football.
all the cats have come out to play in the sandbox and some have sharper claws than others.
meanwhile we all fight to cover up the same old dried turd.

Personally, l like the idea of stealing a few from "America's team." LOL Cowboys...

Dude I hated randy Lerner and the constant stream of failures he hired. I hate the browns getting no respect more than anything you can possibly imagine, but I would never turn my back on the team and go root for another team.choco--I was a Cowboy fan since 1960. That being said there are other teams in the league I like when we're not playing them.

My mind will never change about Jerry and. I am done with his ass period. I would have to have something like battered wives syndrome to root for any team of his. Two teams that I will never root for no matter what are the eagles and the redskins.
