    Hmm the HOF website still had Paul Hornung in the top spot, which is where I got this info. WTF is up with that? Gotta give it to you.

    Bob Waterfield drafted in 1944, Tom Fears and Elroy Hirsch drafted in 1945 all by the Cleveland Rams.

    2. Name that team that drafted 3 Hall of Famers in the same year....but for which team none of those players ever played for.

    The Denver Broncos in 1964 in the AFL draft selected the following players who became Hall of Famers but who were also taken by NFL teams, and each played for the NFL team, not the Broncos:

    Bob Brown, who signed with the Eagles (he was the #1 overall selection in the AFL draft

    Paul Krause, who was drafted by the Redskins and later played with the Vikings

    Bob Hayes, who was drafted and signed by the Cowboys.

    Also, the same year, both the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Oilers drafted 2 future HOFers who never played for them.
