there are a couple of people that have been here awhile that just post to flame reactions from real people like you and me. they claim to have no bias, a background in football knowledge to compare to no other and have done more and seen more than the norse gods.
yep, it's that time of year for the wordsmiths to push buttons, to talk shit and in their words "dance monkey dance". TCPO and mikeH sit on the beach together drinking pina coladas and laugh when they post something that they know an average browns fan will react to, because they have nothing else to say. both their pre-draft predictions were wrong, one of their gay blow boy QBs has just gotten demoted to 3rd string and steroids are harder to come by meaning both their nuts are shrinking and their tits are swelling. they pray JF comes to their gay pool side party and he sprays champagne on their size xs thongs while butt grease runs down their legs trying to clench their breakfast in all the while knowing that their season of "i told you so" is gone for another year.

the best solution: laugh at them. because once again they have nothing real to say and when they thought they did, they found out they were wrong.

Anyway, I'm for Hoyer I liked how the team looked with him under center and for a couple of weeks I felt like the Browns could legit get the job done. I'd like to see him get the chance and keep Johnny in reserve for the time being.

no one wants anyone to fail on this team correct? if the coaches decide to start hoyer is that going to turn some of you guys/gals (you know who you are) into steelers fans?
and if every player had to wait to develop while another player develops then there would be no distinction between a rookie and a vet. that's why it's freaking amazing when a team all comes together in one year to go to and win the super bowl. if you are missing that one piece or they are NOT developed it could cost you the whole thing.

Hoyer generated excitement. He gave us a chance. I like underdawgs. It was exciting to watch the Browns again. Of course, he got hurt in his 3rd game. The wind went out of my sails, just like it did w/many Brown's fans.
I am torn on who to start next year. I love Hoyer, but Johnny could be special. I think we should just let it play out and let the best guy start. However, it is pretty apparent that most folks are aligning themselves in one camp or another and it won't be about production. Instead, it will be about which camp you are in..........and that, my friends..............is total bullshit.

If Hoyer starts and lights it up like a Christmas tree, l am a-ok with that. If he maintains that for another 5 years, l am way ok with that. You may know he's not a good starting QB, but l do not, and l'm willing to suspend judgement until l see a few more games.
All l know is probably what a lot of us think we know, and that is our team showed some real life with him under center. Was it a fluke? Helliphino. But l'd like to find out. And in the meantime it also gives young Johnny a chance to acclimate.

I don't know what's confusing. Our coach has Hoyer out front based on skill at this point. All accounts have Hoyer playing better, more accurate and just out in front in general. I want the browns to win, not just throw the flashy new kid to the wolves because the media wants him. Until Johnny gives the browns the best chance to win I want Hoyer under center.
