Me? No, but it is a close call. While SF sees Kap's possibilities they front loaded the contract so they can get out, if he does not pan out.

  • HAHA some social media intern is getting fired today..

From the Baltimore Ravens official twitter page...

LFW: Think Flacco is overpaid? Pundits say Kaepernick takes over title of most overpaid QB. http://oak.ctx.ly/r/15xzf

  • Just wait until Manziel takes the Browns to the playoffs and contends in a Superbowl... He'll be able to ask for the light-side of the moon and Cleveland will give it to him...

  • Which won't be for 3 more years. Plenty of time to prep the cap.

  • You guys also have to understand that is the way it is going with salaries for vets since rooks aren't getting 50 mil deals anymore.

You have to think in terms of the new NFL salary structure. Teams still have to spend near the cap and rookies aren't getting as much.

Someone has to get it, and it is going to people who have proven. I think that's what everybody wanted. Right?

  • Three lions in the top 25. Damn

Yup- but I think the Niners could have offered Kap a lot less, and he would have taken it. Bradford is the last of the "get rich quick" high draft picks to cash in early.

I think that is right....no more 50 million for the likes of Joey Harrington and Sam Bradford. Keapernick, in two years has guided the SF team to one SB and an NFC title game. Pretty good start to a career. Helps to have a good surrounding team.
