There are only two reasons for your visit. To attempt to poach members or the quality of your current board is so poor you need to look elsewhere. Say what you will about the Browns Board, but I've never felt the need to look elsewhere to satisfy my enjoyment of talking about the Browns or just shooting the shit in general.

We're not Heckert fans, we're BROWNS fans. Lombardi had a track record of mediocrity before he ever hit Cleveland for the second time. (Go look it up if you don't believe me). Damn near puked when I heard Banner hired him. Banner got canned for hiring the dumbass. Lombardi would have traded 1\2 the Browns draft to move up to take JF, he had such a hard on for him.
You're right. It's laughable that Lombardi couldn't even manage to make it three years as GM of one of the worst teams in the league.
In 2012, Heckert panicked and shit the bed, drafting Richardson and Weeden in the first year. However, as much as you may hate Schwartz, he has still started every game since being drafted and will start opening day this year. In addition, Heckert drafted John Hughes, Travis Benjamin and Billy Winn in rounds 3,4, and 6, respectively. All of which will likely be on the opening day roster this season.
In Lombardi's short tenure, he drafted 5 players. None of them were opening day starters. In fact, they have only recorded 5 starts between the five of them. One has already been released. Another may be released before the end of the offseason (McFadden). Mingo is the cream of the crop and is a tweener pass rushing specialist who could either go the way of Aldon Smith or Vernon Gholston.You seem to take offense to Zombo citing the cutting of a sixth round pick...yet you bring another one up in your counterargument (Mitchell).

I don't know who Piano is over here. I probably do on dawtalkers having been a member there pretty much as long as I have had a home PC. They aren't trying to poach members. They just aren't accustomed to a board like this. Just as I wasn't when I first wandered over here 4-5 years ago. I have learned how to wade through the BS and pick and choose my comments and fights. You didn't school me at all. Of course, Heckert was going to have more players on the team. He was there 3 times as long. Lombardi also didn't have a second rounder from the Gordon trade and he lost picks from the TRich trade. He also acquired more picks for the 2014 draft.
