actually that was (Dee-Lite's) only big hit so i don't know if you could call it a b side track.

"Groove" is off their LP "World Clique"... a top musical, guilty pleasure of mine... and the only techno to have that honor.

But only NE Ohio artists should be considered for entry music selection...

NIN has to have something (in)appropriate.

    Or James Gang...

    Or Michael Stanley...

    Or Rick Derringer...

    Or...

    Or...

for funk you got the isley brothers and dazz band and even bozz skaggs

    industrial marily manson

the pretenders (via chrissie hynde) and the raspberries.....

cleveland really produced a lot of good bands

If that is too old school for you, here is another B side:

actually that was their only big hit so i don't know if you could call it a b side track.

i'm old school as well and consider a b side as something on the opposite side of the vinyl record that held the 'hit' single.

I don't know, I just googled "B side" songs, and that came up.

FYI, Both Day Tripper and We Can Work it Out were on the same single....but then can you say that any Beatles song was ever a "B side" song?

  • james gang

  • For Johnnie. I feel bad for the kid. He should be able to snort and grope anything he wants.

    now that is freakin awesome.

  • it's a nasty ass bull dog

  • I personally like the alapaha blueblood bulls

  • the suggestion [at least i think it was] to begin claiming certain NE Ohio related tracks for the Browns Stadium...hand picked by a DJ (or a weekly task force or browns twitterverse or a facebook comment section or what in the hell ever!) and then further played and tested in front of a live stadium audience...

is probably the best idea this board has ever come up with...regarding music at games. haha. still an awesome idea.

especially w such good musical options>>James Gang? are you for real? that essentially virgin ground.

"...and a huge Defensive play by Justin Gilbert forces 3 and out to put the game away!" Jim Donovan nods and cues "Walk Away" cranked to eleven...

reznor? manson? why the hell not?

maybe not as tangibly profitable as brewing vats of some delicious Cleveland Brown Ale...which in my fantasy sell for a flat $5 a pop both inside on tap and outside in glorious tall boy cans. i also hired Swagger to do commercials @ $50 an hr.

  • Personally..I think Swagger is a dumb name

  • is this swagger?

  • is this swagger?

Pretty fucked up doing that to an animal.

back on topic, swag wouldve been a better name. swagger is too tacky

  • Swagger is a horrible name.

    lol beat me to it.

    and no, ty!

    they should seriously do that.

someone on the panel should really bring it up. who would object? honestly? anyone w google could compile a list...could be implemented overnight. i can't think of one reason why not. those songs are timeless. better than dating us now.

and now would be the time...cement that identity...play [music] like a Brown...i like ac/dc and Kosar era stuff but it's era specific, not Cleveland specific. anyone have Jimmy H's email?

  • must be all that 'wax' in your lungs talkin.
