that was the weirdest goddamn video post of the year. the politics and libertarian stuff (cheers btw) i got fine but what the hell was the message intent in that vid?? devoid of interesting highlights of Manziel or relevant info about him, it actually made me kinda pissed!

No matter the QB, once he takes a snap for my team l'm hardwired to root like hell for the guy.
I like the underdog/hometown hero thing with Hoyer, and can't help but pull for the guy, l'll admit it.
If Johnny outplays him and becomes my starting QB, that's cool too. It's likely a matter of when and not if. Like l said, hardwired.
But nobody gets to make me feel like an asshole because l thought the underdog might outperform the 1st rounder.

If Jonathan Paul Manziel wins it outright, then great. The bandwagon fans that he has is like the Lebron fans that follow him, they will go where ever they go. You cant fault them for doing that. However, if they are bandwagon fans, they are just Manziel fans. If they sit through every game the last 20 something years then they can say what they want. Google the Browns and read up my friends, there are no more loyal fans then us. If you get mad that we dont accept you here, then earn it.

"My gut, and this is after watching practice today, but I've studied these QBs in the past too, but I'm not sure that the starter to lead this team to the playoffs is on the roster right now."
He says it's his "gut feel" that the Browns will use both 1st round picks this year and combine them to "grab our QB of the future".

lol, if the browns are going to need to draft a QB in the first round next year, both picks will be in the top 5; you wouldn't need to combine them.

Yea, for real. I rewatched a couple of times so I would get his quote correct. He basically said that he has studied both guys for a while and says Brian is smart and studies hard, but isn't gifted physically. He said Johnny is a wild card, but doesn't think his Texas A&M offense experience will help him in the NFL because it was like nothing that is run in the NFL. He was pretty harsh, and said that it's just his gut feel, and that no one has said a word about it, but he did go on record and sort of "shocked" the other reporters/explayers.

Man I hope he is wrong. I hope we aren't taking a QB before the 4th round for the next decade. I think we'll all know before years end, one way or the other.

All hes doing is betting against Manziel, which isn't a stretch. Hoyer isnt the long term guy in any scenario and he knows that. So if he doesn't think Johnny will translate to the NFL then its an easy call to say Browns will need another QB soon.
