Former Browns bust Brady Quinn gives up playing for broadcast booth

So, now what are DA, McCoy, Weeden, Frye, Holcomb, Pederson, Campbell, Wallace, McCown,Dorsey, Detmer, Garcia, Wynn, Gradkowski, Thad Lewis, Delhomme doing.
I know that Dilfer is with ESPN, and Couch is with the SEC network, I think.
Anderson is in Carolina preparing for his 10th NFL season. And he's already got a contract for his 11th NFL season next year.
Sorry for your loss Quinn Fags.

Hey Stan.
"You planning on having a long relationship with that glass or are you going to drink it? Drink up, man. Maybe we can get another.” - Janis Joplin, 1970. -
i liked anderson too but to say he's a 'good' nfl QB is laughable.
he is like gomer pyle meets side-show bob.
-
For me, it was never about Anderson, it was about the insistence that Quinn be given the job.
He was awful. And now six other teams have confirmed that.
Anderson was mistake prone and maddingly inconsistent. But at least we had a punchers chance on Sundays. Quinn was stillborn into the NFL. He had nothing. Couldnt throw deep. Couldnt win. And Savage traded a first and second for him.

Damn, you yet live. Still lurking? OK, DA has made far more money in 10 years than I ever have in a lifetime. Nice 1\2 season with the Browns- and I know you have to be thrilled about his 100% completion % in the last 3 years 4\4 but I digress. And I was never on the Quinn train- I was just willing to give him a chance. (unlike someone we know who was creaming himself over Brady's "tight spirals" and command of the game. )
Career backup- with one brief flash of glory- is anyone's dream job. A million a year for working out, holding a clipboard, and getting to see the Cheerleaders up close? Sign me up.

Ha! If you guys would come to terms with the fact that Lumbergh is a real dude you'd see that the truth is 10 times funnier than anything Stan or I could have created.
He has an Oregon ISP, always has, I dont know what else to tell ya.

Must be getting old- which movie is it where the guy says "he speaks truth"? OK- remember it- not really a movie- Rah in "Tinman".

Zombo....I chose not to hang around this board during that time. I hate all the blather about QB controversies as it is. All that BS would have driven me over the edge I think.

Regarding the battle between Quinn and DA..
The real loser was Cleveland.
-
Well, the broadcasting career lasted a long time...

He was there third string guy behind Tannehill and Moore. Did they pick up anyone else? I assume they will want 3 QBs. The other guy on their roster is a Seth Lobato? Rookie UDFA from Northern Colorado.
What was the point?

They'll go with two QBs. Just needed another camp arm. Glad they chose him over Grossman who is set to become a Browns legend.

Hey Stan.
Sorry, just came across this thread for the first time. Seriously though, like Zombo said, If you guys could only come to terms with that fact that Lumbergh was not one of us as an imposter, but a real person (at least I think, unless the jokes on me), you would see what a paranoid prick Inspecta was and his pussy ... err posse. What a bunch of idiots ... had to be high as a kite on drugs during that whole era. Still laughing at'em all.

Where is Flugel? It's time for him to come back home. No one here was ever mad at Tom Flugel, ever. He went down that paranoid tube with the rest of them, which was a real shock.
Flugel, meet us in Cleveland for Sundays game.
