Any Tips for moving to L.A.? Zombo?
-
Hey fellas!Didn't mean to bother y'all, but i wondered if any of you had any tips for moving to L.A.I'm from Cleveland originally, and lived in St. Petersburg, FL for three years. My roommate (an actor) and myself are headed to L.A. with about a budget of $1300/month.I Signed up for Westsiderentals (an apartment service), and i'm going to college in Santa Monica. Obviously thats an expensive place to live, but have you heard of anyone getting a 1br for that price around there? I know we might end up in culver city....Thanks for taking the time to read this,Danny

1300 a month? You're lucky to find a studio apartment for that much.
-
You're gonna need more than 1300 a month, fella. Maybe you and your buddy could work as rent boys on sunset strip.
-
Culver city has plenty in that range for 1bedrooms. It's pretty affordable.
-
Santa Monica, prob not.....
I wish though -

Best way to get ahead in LA? Be a young hot blond female willing to get naked.
Are you that?

No, but I have a camera, and I'm a sick editor.

I moved out to Los Angeles for acting and I can gladly answer any of your questions.
I know the cheapest spots to live (relatively safe) and a lot of tips to get you started.

I'd have as much desire to move to within 100 miles of L.A. as I do to move the same 100 of Houston or Dallas. ZERO. Stay is Florida. Work in Orlando.
