  • Now we are in the AFC North, and if we want playoffs, were gonna have to at least go .500 within our own division. But looking at our non divisional schedule, we have a chance to win some games

    Saints, Titans, Jaguars, Raiders, Bucs, Texans, Falcons, Bills, Colts, Panthers

    I see anywhere from 5-7 of those games being winnable

    So I'd go with 4-6. Plus the .500 from the division, I can see us going 7-9. And honestly, I'd be ok with that. It's a big improvement on the last 5 years.

    Unfortunately not much weather help when NO comes to town week 2, but we might sneak up on them.

    At Titans should not be an issue...

    At Jags could be a tussle... they look very improved.

    Raiders, Bucs and Texans in CLE all look W-ish...

    At Falcons then Bills not so much...

    Colts downtown (see above)...

    At Panthers may depend on how important the game is as much as anything.

  • Once the season starts to shake out our perception of which teams are beatable will probably change quite a bit. You never know with the NFL, one of the reasons it's so popular.

  • Assuming we split the division(it's a big assumption, I get it)....I see what looks like 3 wins and 3 losses in the non divisional games, with the other 4 games being pretty even....In the past, I think we would've lost 3 outta those 4, but hope the ball bounces our way this year and we at least split.....soooo, my final guesstimate is 8-8........and if we get a few good calls and a defensive stand or two, maybe 9-7....
