Ben Tate's status..

West was fun to watch and I put the waiver in for him. I think he'll step up big if Tate is out for a bit

Who picked up terrence west as a sleeper this year, This guy did. Hopefully he can get some TD's.
Crowell will get the TD's while West gets the yards.

That does seem likely...

Anthony DiMoro @AnthonyDiMoro 1h #Browns Ben Tate tweeted that his knee injury is "nothing that serious." #sportsrants
Don't know if that means he'll play or not any time soon.

Ian Rapoport@RapSheetWhat is the timeline for injured #Browns RB Ben Tate? I’m told likely out 2-4 weeks, depending on how he heals. You’ll see West & Crowell2-4 weeks?

What about Cameron any news there yet?

Nothing yet. Wouldn't surprise me if he's held out a week as well. Then you get to drop Gordon and Cameron on the Ratbirds and watch them cry. That'd be fun.

Another article on yahoo on Tate's status. Doesn't really add much to the Twitter stuff though

Starting to sound like Tate may be out 2 - 4 weeks now :

I think they'll start West, but Crowell should get lots of playtime.

If I had to guess I would say he was the same type of runner and body type as Tate and West. Big guy (6'2 220) seems to hit the hole hard from what I have seen.
Maybe a better fit for the one cut running system they have now.
Undrafted rookie too. Probably much cheaper to keep around.

why did we keep Winston instead of Dion btw?

Wasn't there something about a Shanahan connection from Washington with Winston?
