you guys need to show up in the tavern during the game.

the beer and chips are as cheap as the talk, but we have a blast. 24 peeps in there at one time today.

    even stockton.

Was at a real tavern, the Parma VFW getting fucking hammered. You can't sit down with out 7 shot glasses (means free drinks) being set before you! Hell of a game. We have a shot at a good season I think. Go Browns!

    Great team victory for sure...

    D was solid enough, but...

I do not understand the lack of aggression by Pettine/ O'Neil. After early success being aggressive, they seemed to call passive D's. But they did get aggressive at the very end again. Additionally, not having some kind of anti-Graham, goal-line plan beyond "Jump Haden, jump" was ridiculous.

Player-wise I'm not sure what has gotten into Kruger, but keep it in there. Billy Wynn looked uncharacteristically sluggish. Indians could use Gipson in centerfield.

    O was good as well.

Shanny called a decent game, but beware of too much PA naked-boot love.

I believe every bad throw BH made today he was falling or moving away from the line. This just in... he does not have enough arm to get away with that. My impression was he was not bailing early; he did stand in there strong more than a few times. We shall see.

Our two-headed RB attack was solid again, but Crowell has to tuck the ball... swings it out there when he cuts.

Receivers were good, but I'm looking forward to our first, wide-open reception where they do not fall down... but hey, at least they are catching them. Timing with Austin was damn good.

O-line seemed pretty good, but we'll see...

On ST's it was good to not see Benji in there for KO returns. Moore is still undersized, but has a little more build (and balls) to run out hard. And as a result, I think, Benji was more adventurous returning punts.

While I appreciate Lanning's enthusiasm... Billy... never ever lower your head on the run again... run until you see a same colored jersy in the end zone and toss it in their general direction.

    GO BROWNS!!!

  • The browns won a hard fought close game against a really good team today. That's progress.

Problem with the Tavern is you guys are talking about the play before I even see it - delay sucks.

Same problem for me. I always enjoyed being in the tavern during games. But I'm always 3 to 4 minutes behind the rest of the tavern.

All the way from Torino to Cleveland: GO BROWNS!!!!!!!

Yeah wasn't bad not too much jf talk either.

If your watching a browns game with fellow fans there is going to be conflicting views either way, it gets tiresome though when it's non-stop.

  • yeah, uh...when did posting something on the internet ever become too positive or too negative?

i'll equate it to movie scenes.

most positive: morgan freeman and tim robbins shaking hands at the end of the movie: shawshank redemption

most negative: morgan freeman and tim robbins shaking hands at the end of the movie: shawshank redemption

  • wynn's intensity level seems to have dropped since ps

  • Yea, that JF talk has fizzled out. The JF Fanboys that were only here because he is here have gone elsewhere........... But they're always lurking.

Think of me as Randy Quaid in the Major League. The very pessimistic fan. Not my fault I'm so used to talking down the browns. I'm just so used to their disappointments.

Will they change their ways? Honestly, who the hell knows. One thing is for sure, I was very pleased with Hoyer. I hope he keeps Johnny Douchebag on the bench for a very long time.

I'm just like you. I am a die hard fan. I just express my emotions in a different way than you do.

Fuck off and have a great day!

    Tried, didn't work.

I still have an occasional issue posting things here sometimes - it's a learning process
