  • Will we see Byrd or Moore play at all today?

  • Moore could return kicks, because Benji is our only real deep threat until Gordon comes back, so he should be more involved in offensive gameplan.

    Z

  • Nothing we can do but pillage other teams practice squads. Don't see farmer giving picks for a wr this time of year.

  • I still stand by my original comment. Although Austin looked much better this game and barnidge stepped up. Why didn't we even look at santonio Holmes? Is Vincent Brown worth a look? We have to do something with the receivers.

  • Austin / Hawkins / Gabriel / Benjamin will be fine. Next year, we might get a better developed WR in Charles Johnson who now will have a full year of health on the PS (if he doesn't get plucked by someone else). We will also have Josh Gordon back. Plus, we have Byrd and Mamu developing. We have 2 1st round picks, one of which could be a WR. Plus, this FO has appeared capable of scouting small-school "skill" players that we may be able to steal again next year...

Don't forget our other weapons West / Crowell / Tate (when he's back) / Cameron (when he's back) / Barnidge / Dray / Agnew (if he learns to catch the ball)

Trading right now, or signing a FA WR is not necessary... barring injury of course.

Agree, our wide-receiving corp will be fine as long as we can continue to the run ball. Good play-action-passing doesn't require superstar receivers because the deception is what makes the receivers get open.

  • Austin Miles ?

Is he related to Miles Austin ?

No, but the live within the same City Limits.

  • Don't the pats almost every year have question marks about who Brady will throw to and they do fine without super stars. I am not comparing hoyer to Brady. So don't go there

  • Hawkins has been excellent so far even without a TD on the board, looks to have very safe hands which after watching Bess and Little last year was sorely needed.
