  • I would not be surprised if the browns utilized Grey with orange in an alternate uniform. I hear there's another team jimmy follows that sometimes uses that scheme

    does anyone really want a splatter effect on the browns helmet (diehard's point) when half the jokes i hear are "how are your brown/shit stains doing?"

    looks like the back end of a men's bathroom stall defaced by a long road trucker after downing 5 gallons of red bull/mountain dew and eating the denny's grand slam breakfast.

  • love to. not unis though. that's nike, not me. maybe just a re-tooling of the browns board stuff. (like i said before we should have a tshirt design contest....not necessarily graphics but the best, funniest, wittiest sayings to throw on some tees).

    was going to do beanies this year. they had a close-out on grey beanies at an unbelievable price but i slept on it. it was a close-out sale and now to find something equal to it wasn't feasible considering i'd have it embroidered front and back.

    also i'm caught up in NYcomiccon now. i have a friend doing a startup plus 2 other people that need shit done for the oct 9-12th convention. then i have my regular local 3 guys wanting shirts for the army vs. fordham game and my best client who's a plumber needs his winter gear for his staff. and i'm retired so...

    i'd love to get everyone's feedback, do a shirt or hat design dedicated to this site and i'd do it at cost and let the guys here sell on the site or give them away. was hoping to make it to the game with my daughter but unfortunately (not for us) she went to the winner last week and i had planned on it being this week's ultimate tailgate party. (scenes of getting out of limo with a case of latour, cohibas and some drunk NY pals coming to have a blast with everyone i know but don't know on here....maybe some strippers too).

    i'm an easy bugger. and i love my compatriots!

    btw resident artist is not true. i've seen a lot of stuff from some young guns here that would blow my shit out of the water. thing is i can produce and print it.

    let's do it.

    Actually, some of those mockups aren't too bad- won't have much choice but to live with Truckin' Jimmuh's decision. And it is his fer sure.

    However Nike bring the Steelers, Cowboys, an Packers along for the Flair Club ride while you're at it- their uniforms are every bit as dated.

    I've said elsewhere I;'m buying my gameday before Nike ruins the classic look.

    Like I said Walter- change it to green and gold- you got Oregon. Nike's paying the NFL $10s of millions for the uni contract- but that doesn't mean everyone has to agree that what Nike's fashion police think is "cool" and "futuristic" is something that I just have to rush rigth out and buy. 🙂

    but you are looking at different colors my friend. blue, orange and white.....maybe san diego but not the browns.

    noticed theyre wearing new slate grey sweats to travel now. Maybe a glimpse of whats to come. I remember when they were voting on the new design and there were some with grey.

    Someone mentioned home and road models... I wonder if they played with a dark brown model?

    And I liked the inverted stripe... but not the splash in either color.

  • I thought I was down for a uni change but after seeing those helmets, I'm good with what we have. If that is how Nike plans on bastardizing our helmet, I don't want to see what they are going to do to the actual jerseys.

    I dig the matte look on helmets. Is that already out of style?

You a football program, or are you outfitting the women\guys who do the Weather forecast every day? Can't be caught dead in the same outfit twice.
