Second chance saloon. You guys have knocked this one out pretty well. Here are those questions still looking for right answers:

        3. The Bucs original owner had contracted to buy another NFL team, Which one?

        6. Which 3 other players besides Jeff Garcia made the Pro Bowl for the Bucs and who at some point in time played for the Browns?

        8. The Bucs have a winning record against only 3 other NFL teams. Which ones?

          8. The Bucs have a winning record against only 3 other NFL teams. Which ones?

Based on their first victory, a division foe and that they were terrible longer than the Bucs...

          NO Saints

Keenan Mcardell. He didn't move to baltimore I'm guessing.

Correct. McCardell did play well for the Jags for quite a while.

                          Final Answers:

                          1. Before there were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, another city had an NFL franchise known as the Buccaneers. Which city?

The Los Angeles Buccaneers played in the league in 1926....and went 6-3-1. Despite their successful record they folded because at that time intercontinental travel was too prohibitive. In fact, for much of the year the LA Buccaneers actually were based in Chicago.

                          2. A. Which division did the TB Bucs play in during their first year in the league, 1976?

They started in the AFC West with the likes of the Broncos/Chargers/Raiders....but after one year they switched to the NFC

                          B. What other expansion franchise came in with the Bucs in 1976?

The Seattle Seahawks started in the NFC West. After one year the Bucs and Seahawks traded places. The Seahawks were in the AFC West for 20-25 years until they switched back to where they started in the NFC West.

                          3. The Bucs original owner, Hugh Culverhouse, had actually contracted to purchase an existing NFL franchise, but was thwarted in his attempt... Which team was that?

The Los Angeles Rams. Culverhouse had an agreement with the Estate of Dan Reeves to buy the Rams....but then someway somehow Robert Irsay got into the picture and bought the Rams....and immediately traded them for the Colts with Carroll Rosenbloom....who became Rams owner. Culverhouse threatened a lawsuit for breach and interference. The NFL intervened and said they would expand and award one of the new franchises to Culverhouse. That is how he got the Buccaneers. Culverhouse was born in Alabama, but he lived alternately in Jacksonville and in Sarasota Fla. so the Tampa Bay area was a natural area for him to own a franchise.

                          4. What was the nickname of the Bucs original stadium?

The Big Sombrero, due to its shape.....see my avatar.

                          5. A. The Bucs hold the record for the most consecutive losses in history....26. This was from the beginning of the existence of the franchise. Which team did they beat to break that losing streak?

                          The New Orleans Saints

                          B. Which legendary Head Coach was fired as a result of losing that game to the Bucs?

                          Hank Stram

                          C. The Bucs second win in their existence actually came the next week after their first win. Who did they beat for that second win?

                          The St. Louis Cardinals

                          D. Which legendary Head Coach was fired as a result of losing to the Bucs with that second victory?

                          Don Coryell

                          6. Which 4 players that made the Pro Bowl for the Bucs also played for the Browns at some point?

Trent Dilfer, Jeff Garcia, Keenan McCardell, and Mark Carrier.

                          7. What is the all time head to head record Browns vs. Bucs?

Browns lead 5 games to 3.

                          8. The Bucs have a winning record in their history against just 3 other teams. Name those 3 teams.

                          The Buffalo Bills 7-3

                          the Cincinnati Bengals 7-3

                          The Kansas City Chiefs 6-5

The Bucs are also .500 with the Falcons, Dolphins, Redskins and Cardinals.

                          9. Who is the Buccaneers all time leading passer?

Vinny Testaverde (and Dilfer is #3 and Garcia #8 all time with them....all also having played for the Browns)

                          10. Who was the Bucs starting QB in their first game ever? Hint: It is a well known name.

Steve Spurrier (who later was HC of the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL)

                          11. Which Buccaneers first round draft pick never played a down for them?

Bo Jackson. Opted instead to play for the KC Royals. The next year he went back in the draft and the Raiders picked him with a late round selection.

                          12. For whom did the Bucs trade their 2002 and 2003 first round draft picks for?

                          Head coach Jon Gruden

                          13. In their history the Bucs have drafted 3 Hall of Fame players in the regular draft. Name them.

Leroy Selmon in 1976.....and both Derrick Brooks and Warren Sapp were chosen by the Bucs in the first round of the 1995 draft. That was one hell of a first round.
