Talking about pizza is one of my favorite things.

That being said My short list of favorite places is Luigi's or Regina's in Akron. Uptown or The Elmton in Youngstown.

Bada Bing......unless you also want to go out to Shaker Blvd. and go to Smokey Pig. Though it was over 30 years ago since I went there, so it may no longer exist.

Staying downtown does limit you a bit. A nice homey place...also near Shaker Square is the Academy Tavern.

Been there nice place. Even the cops hang out there for lunch.

It's a dive and I don't even think they serve booze.

It's just great for hangovers and you have to do it once.

The sports memorabilia there alone is worth the trip. Just down the street from Great Lakes Brewery and St. Iggy. Hoyers high school. Highly recommend this [lace.

then go to West 25th Street. The Great Lakes Brewing Company is there and at least three or four other bars that specialize in micro brews and good food. All within walking distance of the Great Lakes Brewing Company. Seriously worth the trip.

I scanned the thread and didn't see any mention of the Italian district? What do you call it? That was recommended to us when we visited a couple years back (actually scheduled an extended family weekend to see the Christmas Story house) and we were pretty impressed. Don't recall the name of the place, might know it if l heard it, but it was damn good and the sights and smells along that strip were a cool experience.

i would definitely look at this stuff as a consumer and decide to go there or not.
