To The Whiners and Hoes...How About A 1/2 Way Eye Test?

all i wanted to point out is that..hey, the browns aren't that bad.
a brand new coaching staff given the players from a brand new FO at the 1/2 way point and we're above .500.
we can go down the list every year of draft picks coulda shoulda......of rankings.......of just why didn't we's??
all i'm thinking right now is thur's nite game is going to be kyle shanahan's make it or break it 'living' in the shadow' of rat face dad's game. he's going to have to figure out how to grind a game out with no OL ('cept the left side) and run the ball against a good to if not great cincy defense.
players are there. coaches need to coach. if the browns win this game......
then you know.

Oh... Sammy Watkins got injured... again

has clowney played a game this year?

Might come back by time they play us. 21 year old DE with knee injuries could be a forever issue, but there's also a chance he comes back and stays healthy for many years.
If he doesn't, just goes to show that there's no such thing as a "sure thing" in the draft because if there was one, Clowney was it.

Mik,
Kudos to you for hitting the nail on the head.
I just love seeing these guys "Playing like Browns"! They have certainly embraced that philosophy. There are no quitters, no 2nd half collapses...This is one scrappy TEAM, led by LEADERS on & off the field & I'm blessed to hold Season Tickets where I can be part of the new Energy every home game.

Someone tell me why the OP is whining?
I don't see any whining in Mik's post. There is however a lot of truth in it.

Call it whining against the whiners. First time since 2007 the Browns have been above .500 this late in the season, Hoyer is playing like the best Browns qb since Bernie Kosar- at least record wise. The whiners (weiners) still won't be happy if we win the damn Super Bowl- ""well, we coulda beat them worse." Hoyer looked like a bum doing it.
Or would the wieners rather talk about 2015 draft prospects- because that's what we were doing last year in early November.

I picked the Browns to go 3 - 13 +/- 1 win. The franchise already bent me over and stuck the equipment truck up my ass.
This is a respectable team, they play hard, they gave us some great wins and kicked the shit out of the Steelers, and have a respectable record. Hell, it's good to be wrong for a change.
I still believe Manziel was a waste of a pick, but who even knows that? The guy might wind up as trade bait and be converted back into a pick. If anything, I think we can confidently say that the Browns are no longer one of the worst teams in the NFL.
Bravo!
i thought meeting you at a bar would be easy cuz all i'd have to do is call out 'GHOOLIE!'
now i go to prussia town and call out 'Vesna' and half the big chunky girls turn around..........
damn G.

So is manziel starting tonight?

I am with Mik on this. The team is overachieving when compared to other teams that are fielding a ton of talent. They very well could make the playoffs with a roster that a lot of pundits thought was dead in the water. Go Browns!

there's a difference between winers and WHINERS.

my halfway eye test is that we can't stop the run and now that one offensive lineman is out..we can't run the ball either. This means the defense, which couldn't stop the run when healthy, is gonna be on the field a lot the 2nd half of the season. Just in time for the toughest part of our schedule. I like the progress we made on offense this year, obviously. But it's clear what has to be fixed in the offseason, o line both starters and 2nd string.
