With the way our other TE's are playing..

  • Is Cameron trade bait? I love Jordan Cameron but after watching Barnidge's ridiculous catch thursday, and knowing he does other line stuff better than Cameron, is Cameron now maybe something we dangle infront of other teams? And Dray is playing really good as well.

  • Cameron is a FA after the season. I would imagine we make an offer but I wouldn't break the bank for him. If he gets a bigger offer (which he likely will), I'm letting him go.

  • He's a FA, so no ones gonna trade for him.

The bigger question is how much does someone pay him? All pro money for last year? Or not because of this year?

  • Fuck I forgot he was FA, so ur right not gettin dick for him.

  • Cameron who? Oh that guy. Ya I'm good either way. Definetly don't overpay, hell I might pay Dr Dray more

  • Yep, that is how all of the great teams do it. They trade away / choose not to resign their best players when the backups have flashes in their absence.

Cameron is having a big down year, keeping him may not be as costly as it was thought before the season.

    Maybe Cam's 2013 was a "flash"...

But even if it wasn't, what does it matter if he can't get/stay on the field?

Maybe, let's see him in the back 7 and see how it goes (we're already 9 games in :-0 )

  • I just thought with Gordon coming back and the rest of our receiving corp stepping up also...that maybe we could have gotten a draft pick out of him. But yeah he's probably gonna have to test the mkt with the way Dray and Barnidge are playing...no way he gets from the Browns the kind of money he was wantin.

  • Let's see what happens in the next few weeks. He hasn't been healthy and concussions are a serious thing. My feeling is wait and see. When the season is over it may be a mute point.

  • Like another poster mentioned.. I wont feel bad, either way...I like Cam.. but not enough to tag him.
