Ben Tate discontented.

Mudfly

The good news is that this Scary K Cabbage moment wont even make a ripple in the locker room.

Shit. They've been talking about the running backs competition since training camp. Whats new here?

Unsympathetic

Every professional athlete competes. Every day. It's not a story, it's not discontent. It's how the job is.

The only story would be if Tate didn't want to compete. Not being the lead dog SHOULD piss him off.. but that wouldn't be a bad thing for the locker room!

The Cysko Kid

Is tate content with his current role? No? Then he's discontented. Sorry that terminology bugs you tour.

Ben Tate can suck 2 farts out of 3 dicks and move on.

Put up or shut up. If you get outplayed, you get outplayed.

et tu, TC?

BaconHound

Liked the offseason Tate signing but really don't care that he's not happy. If Pettine thought he would be a game changer, he'd get the ball more.

This isn't newsworthy, in my opinion.

Of course he's upset. He's getting outplayed by a UDFA and a 3rd round pick. He's in a RBBC. If you can't take hold of the job, don't be surprised when you lose it.

CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS

Wasn't West a 3rd rounder?

Yes. And that's why I said 3rd rounder and don't go looking for any mistakes because you won't find them.

D Bone

I hope he runs like he's discontented every time he touches the ball .

Since we agree on this, I'll pretend you said 3rd round all along as well...

Manzier

Well, Tate had a couple shots today and basically ran backwards again. Compared to the other 2 backs, he's looked really rough 3-4 games in a row now. He's had fewer opportunities. yes. But this is why.

Wonder whats up? head case? lingering injury? just not as good? all of the above?

D Bone

It sucks that he had to go running off with his mouth during the mini-bye week, and after a huge win no less........ That shit doesn't help the team.

Tour2ma

He did not "run his mouth"... he made the gross error of answering a question compounded it by not answering a couple others.

The first of Tate's two carries today was a 3rd and long draw out of the shotgun...

The second and worst of Tate's two runs today was wide where we pretty much did nothing all game. He did make the second one worse by trying to run around Schwartz, who'd been blown back 3 yards by Watt.

What running we managed was all inside the tackles today... and not out of the gun.

D Bone

What ever label we slap on it T, it still isn't good for the team. I'm not saying he's the reason we lost by any means, but it isn't something heard out of the Broncos or Patriots locker rooms.

By "we" I assume you mean Mary Kay... and, no, she isn't good for the team.

I doubt that Tate's responses had any impact whatsoever in the Locker room.

Today was the first game in my estimation that l saw an attempt at a feature running back.

Crowell was in there a helluva lot.

A helluva lot.

Crow is our future feature back (say that 5 times fast).......... That is if he gets his ball security fixed, and fixed by the end of this season.

Tour2ma

I thought not shifting the ball while in the hole was a cardinal rule...

I was shocked to see Crow start the 2nd half.
