  • Gordon comes back next week right? at least there's that to look forward to

  • We really needed gordon today. Just someone that can make a play to help out hoyer.

  • Hoyer has to take the credit for a loss as well as a win.

  • Sure, as a leader he will hold accountability. Nothing you can do though when the O line won't hold up whatsoever, can't get any kind of run game, and have cookie cutter wide recievers that need to be set up perfectly and wide open to make a play

  • Plenty of blame to go around for this one. Shanny, the defensive front 7, the Oline (which was more on Shanny not letting a TE sit in to chip) Crow, Moore, Miles then Hoyer.

Getting Gordon back will really help keep those safeties away from the line.

  • ^^^

Plenty to put on Hoyer too though. He was very inaccurate in some key spots.

Fuckin even when we were out of our own way the refs were in it. That was a killer, and the missed FG, and the Crow fumble ...

  • Yeah. Id say it was a team effort. They were completely out of synch.

It happens. Some weeks you got it and some weeks you dont.

Didn;t expect this, but all they can do is regroup and get the win next week

  • Just like before the Jacksonville game, I hated how much publicity the Browns were getting leading into the game. When you're a young, hungry team like the Browns that shit gets to your head. I don't think it's a coincidence they lost both games after huge wins.

    Other quick reaction opinions here:

-You can't put the blame on one person today. It's going to be easy to point the finger at Hoyer looking at his numbers, but between drops, bad Oline play, and overall bad defense the whole team just looked bad.

-I don't care who you root for in this game, but the refs were downright lousy. They knew it too based on how much they were talking on calls towards the end. The non-PI call was inexcusable.

-We just have to live with the fact the run defense is terrible. It's too late to turn that ship around.

-All the little things that have gone the Browns way this year didn't today. The ref being in the way literally, a dropped taylor made pick-6 by Kruger etc.

-Can someone please explain to me why we ran Watt's way so God Damn much?

  • and fingers crossed about sheard and dansby. Hate to lose any more D right now

  • That was hot garbage

Some men think that their scheme will trump any player talent?

  • Mallett was a lot better than I'd hoped he'd be.

I don't think the Browns defense was bad. Comes down to the browns offense not converting 3rd downs. They were gifted two roughing the kicker penalties. Hoyer is too inconsistent. Miles was terrible. Game plan too conservative. Watt is a monster. Mallet is impressive.

The fuck nonsense are you talking? We just gave up almost 200 yards rushing.

I truly could give a shit less if you put Andrew Luck back there today, you cannot continually get behind the chains and convert 3rd and longs. NO QB can.

You just proved your football IQ. Stay to what you're good at - being the fan of a dude.

  • As a middle-of-the-pack team (in the NFL), we're going to have a lot of ups and downs and frustrations. Injuries are really hurting us right now, and the role of Taylor and Mack should not be underestimated. Also, this is one tough and talented Texas team, who similar to the Browns, can win on any given Sunday. Their QB played well enough to win and they won the line of scrimmage - especially our O against their D. Hover under great pressure. Many Browns had bad days. Austin's performance was inexcusable, as was the fumble, which could have given us a 10-7 lead at half time. The missed pick-6, holding on the return TD, we left points all over the place!

Another win-able game goes into the L column, but all we can do is learn and move forward.

Hoyer is the QB, the leader, and he was horrible today, along with alot of others. Sick of everyone giving Hoyer the credit with a good game, but nothing when we lose. Give it a break.

Don't think you're going to find a single person that says Brian played well today. They didn't play well enough to get the win in any phase of the game, including the coaches on the sideline.......... Can't win em all, time to learn from it and move on.

  • Can't win em all

I'm giving him blame, however unlike you I don't give him either too much credit or too much grief.

  • Yep. We sucked as a team. Picking single players to point the finger is pointless. And would take a lot of fingers. Maybe a calculator.

    The punter was GREAT!

Got roughed twice and saved the day wit a miracle kick on a bad snap.

    Everyone else, not so hot
