Breaking: BROWNS CUT BEN TATE
-
Im guessing some here are assuming that Tate was cut due to his comments.
I really doubt it.
I think he was cut simply because he sucked....plus, we have 2 other guys who can do it better.....and we needed a roster spot for JG.
.
Agree. I never heard him say anything bad about the players, coaches or team in general. He got cut because he was the least productive of three decent backs and we needed the spot. I'm not eIm guessing some here are assuming that Tate was cut due to his comments.

As I noted on other "injury" topic.......LeGarrette Blount refused to go into the game last night when asked. When will Steelers be cutting his ass?

Looks like a great move to me.
Though, Im sure if he goes somewhere else and gains even a few yards, someone here will whine about it. Or the first time West or Crowell make a bad, it'll be due to Tate leaving. Book it.

I'm here for ya, Mud...
But could end up a Raider, so it'd be a very few yards...He was still mad that we didn't draft Watkins.
LMAO... well done.
Wonder if this will affect other free agents views on signing with the Browns in the future...
Might be the only minus I see from this.
Should definitely drive up the guaranteed money...

We knew we had a problem getting bigger name FA to come to CLE. And now....

Steelers are just trying to keep up with the Jones's, or in this case, the Browns.

The browns have never ever ever ever ever had a problem signing free agents. We have gotten plenty of big names. Try again

I heard the Manson family had something to do with Tates disappearance.......... oh wrong Tate
-
Couldn't they get something for him? why did they just waive him?

I'll be damned.
Question: will either of these guys be picked up by anybody the rest of the year?
Answer: probably, given the injury situation with NFL RBs.

And add Steelers to Patriots and Colts as places Ben could wind up ... all competitors.

And I hear the Ravens are in the market too.
Kubiak was in Houston and may want to take a look at Tate. Or not. Wonder if his old coach wants him back?

I guess Farmer and Pettine are not messing around! It's more "play like a brown" attitude/culture change. I'm surprised really, thinking like others that it would be an offseason move.

If he replaces Bradshaw then he would end up with Trent Richardson. We should have traded him to the Colts for a first rounder not waived him. HahhahaAnd I hear the Ravens are in the market too.
