Right on. Thanks for your time in.

I'd even look at used Glock's. If you're comfortable enough with checking for slide wear, and internals (striker pin, trigger assy, etc) a used Gen 3 19 is hard to beat. I would. Most "used" handguns have less than 5000 rounds through them unless they're police trade ins. Even those are still worth a look.

  • I hope you guys had a chance at a free lunch at the Texas Roadhouse

    on veterans day.

    That is great fun.

  • Check out this little beauty of a concealed carry .380 made by taurus. It's not quite out yet so no msrp but I'm highly interested in it

It's definitely intriguing. MSRP around $390 from what I'm reading. Dealer/retail probably 300ish. I'm interested in

    A.) performance/reliability

    B.) a lefty version

  • That is nice. Even has a belt clip. Would be great for extreme close in use, kid of a last resort weapon.

Well that's sort of what a concealed carry weapon is supposed to be, no? I like that it has the light and laser built into the frame

  • Lighter, small grip...

bigger kick? Although, you're a bigger guy, Cysko,

I'm fine with our CTX-1 - but my Wife thinks it kicks a bit

    too much...

    The smaller the gun....?

  • It uses a locked breach design to aid with recoil snap. Prob kicks like full size 9mm if I were guessing.

  • Never been into the pocket 380s. Begrudgingly gave one a shot (S&W Bodyguard). The trigger was awful and the laser went tits up...twice. S&W took care of it both times but after I got it back the second time I sent it down the road.

  • That said, I understand why some people like them.

That's one of the ugliest guns I have ever seen

Well, the range would be extremely small. I would prefer another weapon also with better range and more rounds.

beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. I think it looks sweet. The 1911 looks ugly to me.

    BLASPHEMY!

I say that only owning one. Pretty guns but they are much more maintenance intensive than newer striker fired guns.

Every kid had one of these in the sixties. Remember them little balls you would throw at the ground and they would explode? I forgot what they called them. Also mosquito chasers, sparklers, etc.

We call those things cracker balls. I lived in Texas for a short time and remember the chasers were called something other than mosquito.....

Also M80s and cherry bombs before they god outlawed.

you could reuse the bullets with the Mattel pistol and they used greenie stickem caps.

  • I was a kid right at the end of when you could buy cracker balls.I was born right at the end of a great era of being allowed by your parents to potentially maim yourself. It taught life lessons.
